Prefer rock crystal for less impurities (than pellets). Diamond salt is a little less expensive at Menards (50# bags).

Good salt. Good price. Like even better that it can be shipped to my door vs lugging bags from the store.

I used you use and off brand salt and it always left my softner dirty. I change to Morton and now no more dirt. Also you can't beat the price.

Not sure yet. Hoping it doesn't dissolve really fast, but at least it shouldn't lump up like pellets do and I have to pound them with a broom.
