Salt is salt. Product is salt, and it works fine in my water softener. But the outstanding thing about it is that I can pre-order it in the App and they will bring it to the car and load it for me. Unfortunately, the guy wouldn't come to my house and carry it into the basement.

I know this salt is for a water softener, I don't have one but I do use the salt in my washer for cloth diapers and it's saving me so much money! Compared to getting calgon which is $5 for a little container this is $5 for a 40lb bag that will probably last me my entire diaper carrier and I'm ecstatic about finding this!

We've been using this product for 9 years but never knew Sam's club carried it. It works well with our water softener system and is almost $3 per bag LESS at Sam's Club than it is at the "orange" box store. Plus, the bags from Sam's club have a great carry handle - the other ones don't have any handle.

I attached a note for driver to place salt in wheelbarrow provided. He walked around the wheelbarrow three times and carried the boxes up 12 stairs! I had to have a neighbor carry them back down and put them into wheelbarrow so they could be moved to proper location on side of my house. I am a senior and drivers inability to read or follow simply request to place into wheelbarrow made my day difficult. He expended unnecessary energy to carry 120 pounds of salt up to my porch which had to be taken back down!

This is not pool salt, however it is classified as such in a search on the website. It comes in the typical 40lb bags and without close observation, looks just like pool salt in the photo. A relative made the same error, as I’m sure others did. Such a waste of shipping costs (free to me) for the company. Walmart did the right thing and refunded my money, excellent customer service.

I bought some of these Morton cyrstal bags because walmart was out of the Morton pellet bags. The crystals will do what they are supposed to, with your water softener, but they do not last as long as the pellets do. One bag of the morton pellets will last me a little over a week, while one of these crystal bags only lasts about 4 days or so.

Water softener salt in crystal form is getting harder to find , but walmart carried it. Costs a little bit more at home depot. And at home depot .... is there any bags on the lower shelf or do you want to wait a half hour to have them lower a pallet. Then deal with broken bags or the aisle closed while they lower other top shelf pallets. Will buy again ...

I had ordered 2 bags of this salt and it was out of stock so had it shipped, boxes came open and delivery driver threw them on my front stoop.. the boxes arent designed to ship this heavy of a product that shifts in shipment. I have bought this same salt in store and all is good. Good product.
