[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me the Scotch Sure Start packing tape to review and I have to say I'm impressed! The dispenser is pretty normal, but the tape itself makes packing and shipping stress free. The tape dispenses pretty easily, still nice and sticky, but doesn't rip length wise, so you're not sitting there scratching at clear shreds of tape trying to find the end (I know I've been there) Overall it held up pretty well during the shipping process, which gives it two big thumbs up!

My daughter got a hold of my tape before I could so I thought I'd have some trouble getting it to start, but nope, it started perfectly. I am very happy with this product that I received from 3M.

The dispenser cuts it easily which makes it easy to apply where you need it. It also holds well in shipping or on boxes that you are just packing up to store. I highly recommend this tape. It lives up to the great Scotch name.

The dispenser is well made , helping to make the process of using the tape problem free. Finally, the tape is thick, which should guarantee safe shipping. 3M provided a free sample for review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is strong as you can get for packing and shipping. Secures boxes without needing a ton of extra tape to insure closure. The only problem I had was starting the roll. The tape claims “sure start” which I had a problem with. Most heavy duty packing tape has a starting tab to get the roll going. I had 3 people in my house try to get this roll going, 3m, please use a paper starting tab on the beginning of the roll. That’s one of the most frustrating things with any new tape roll.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use, but not sure it is sticky enough. It was easy to find the starting point, easy to unwind and apply, but it felt "repositionable". I am not sure that is something I want in packaging tape.

I am grateful to try what is an easily dispensed transparent tape that rolls out easily, cleanly cuts evenly, doesn’t wad up or fray . I have had trouble in the past with some tapes not dispensing well, splitting and never being able to get a clean even cut again. This tape has consistently cut evenly. I appreciate the tape is made from recycled materials. Great innovation 3M! It is a durable tape. I send books to my home schooled grandkids , this tape gives me confidence that my package will arrive intact.

I used it on storage boxes to give the extra protection of keeping the boxes sealed so that my valuable items would remain safe. This product worked well, it was easy to unroll from the dispenser, get my desired length and tearing it was easy. It sealed the boxes and provided the extra support that was needed.

It's easy to pull and cut. The tape is nice and strong and I know it will hold up. I like to online shop so I'm constantly returning things. I need a good shipping tape to box up my returns. I always go with Scotch Shipping Tape!

I spent a couple of days organizing my garage and using cardboard boxes to pack away items for storage in the garage attic. The tape machine was very easy to use so I could seal the boxes to prevent dust and dirt from getting into the boxes. I'll keep the tape machine just in case I have to send packages back to online stores once they've been opened. I cannot believe how easy the tape seals boxes with little or no effort. Thanks 3M.
