[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape is easy to start and easy on each subsequent use. The end easily releases from the rest of the roll, and the tape is nearly silent as it is pulled from the roll. The dispenser includes a cutting edge that quickly cuts the tape and does does cause splits. I highly recommend this tape for household use. 3M provided a free sample of this product to evaluate. It doesn't get caught and it's easy and effortless to seal. I also didn't have any problem finding them end like I typically do with packaging tape.

I’ve been using Scotch tapes most of my life. This “sure start” tape is the first line I could never recommend! It sticks to paper just fine and is very easy to pull off the roll- BUT it does NOT stick to itself! Any slight bump or roll over will pull off all tape that has been taped to another piece of tape. I purchase approximately ten 6 packs per year. This “sure start” is cheaper but is also CHEAP- JUNK. Buy only the red or blue rolls. Heavy Duty is the best!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me the Scotch Sure Start packing tape to review and I have to say I'm impressed! The dispenser is pretty normal, but the tape itself makes packing and shipping stress free. The tape dispenses pretty easily, still nice and sticky, but doesn't rip length wise, so you're not sitting there scratching at clear shreds of tape trying to find the end (I know I've been there) Overall it held up pretty well during the shipping process, which gives it two big thumbs up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really works as described! Very easy to find end and no more fighting with the tape to avoid splitting and breaking. Been using Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape forever but will be switching to this one when I use up the rolls I still have on hand. Actually, am tempted to donate my old ones and replacing with this one!
