Did not come apart as some shipping tapes tend to do. Definitely recommend this tape for your moving needs as well as your basic shipping needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a roll of Scotch "Sure Start" shipping/packaging tape to try. Finding and pulling the end of the tape is super easy. There is no struggle peeling it back, opposed to the multiple started shreds of past packaging tapes. The tape feels lighter than other version of Scotch packaging tape, yet it is just as strong and sticky. While in the tape holder, the Scotch Sure Start tape freely peels from the roll allowing it to easily flow while pulling it across a box without the shudder and nose.

The sure start is easy to use from the first time to the last time. Tape is strong and does the job well and secures what you place the tape on your time. This tape dispenser is well worth the price.

Most of all, I loved how quiet it was when dispensing. I have used other tapes that are very noisy and hard to maneuver, but that is not the case with the Sure Start. I will be buying this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used several tape dispensers and this is by far the smoothest one I’ve ever used. The tape pulls out very smoothly. It doesn’t stick to itself as you are reeling it out. It also adheres to surfaces very well. There is a little tab to put the cut end on so that it doesn’t go back onto the roll where it’s impossible to get it started again. I highly recommend this tape and dispenser.

At first touch it didn’t seem that sticky but after sticking it and trying to pull off it is a very heft tape. I I received this item for free.

I use to cover cracks near windows to keep out cold air. I use it when my window air conditioners are installed to make sure no air comes in the the AC's stay in place.

The roll was easy to use and did not split at any time whether I was starting to pull it out, in the middle or end. After I finish taping I always fold the end back on itself for an easier start. I felt this tape was slightly a lighter tape than what I have been using but worked perfectly. I would recommend this Scotch Sure Start Packaging tape to my friends and family.
