[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What an improvement. I think we’re all used to online ordering. However, despite our best intentions some things still need to be returned. This tape starts easy even if I miss the end. It’s a one pass wonder. No more making multiple passes to seal up the packages. The dispenser has a nice sharp blade to cut the end. So glad to have received this free product in exchange for my review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Sure Start Packaging Tape is easy to start and easy on each subsequent use. The end easily releases from the rest of the roll, and the tape is nearly silent as it is pulled from the roll. The dispenser includes a cutting edge that quickly cuts the tape and does does cause splits. I highly recommend this tape for household use. 3M provided a free sample of this product to evaluate. All opinions are my own.

This was on sale and I bought it seal shipping boxes. I made up a stack of boxes the started filling them and the tape is separating from the boxes before there’s even anything in them. Also, when I put it on the tape gun, I keep pulling out too long a strip because it pulls off the tape wheel too easily. It’s making shipping take longer because I have to check every seam and readhere it.

The tape is strong enough to handle heavy boxes and never comes undone, it’s not cloudy so I can protect shipping labels and still be able to see them through the tape, and the dispenser itself allows the tape to glide right onto the box and keeps it from sticking to itself, which is always a pain in the neck to try and fix. All in all a great product that I will continue to use

Bought this from Walmart home delivery with grocery's. It barely sticks to standard cardboard boxes. I can remove it easily from a box without tearing a layer of cardboard that you would expect. Worked for a wholesale distributor of construction supplies so was around packaging tape for 20 yrs there and have used packaging tapes all thru my life and I'm 65 now. Never seen anything like this tape... Clear to the core I guess because not much stickum.

First, what I like: the refillable plastic dispenser is superb. It's designed with little plastic tabs on either side, underneath the blade, so that after you cut off your preferred length of tape, the end of the tape no longer flops down on the roll, leaving you to have to turn the roll around and around until you find the start. Bought a three pack after my heavy duty ran out. Getting ready to move some thing to my business. I can't get the stuff to stick to cardboard moving boxes. It peels right off like there isn't any glue on the tape. It's terrible. It also falls off as you're moving packed boxes. I don't know if I received a lemon batch, but it's bad. Going back to heavy duty or possibly another brand. I have no confidence this will secure a small box of books. Save it for your doll collections

My daughter got a hold of my tape before I could so I thought I'd have some trouble getting it to start, but nope, it started perfectly. I am very happy with this product that I received from 3M.
