I have used bidets since 1992. Heated water bidets were very hard to find in the U,S. back then and were very expensive. That first bidet had a sensor failure within one year and stopped regulating the water temperature, causing burns to the user. Into the trash it went, and I used non-electric cold water bidets since then. I decided to see what was was on the market recently and bought the Bidet Swash 1000. It was delivered yesterday and I installed it within an hour (EASY). The quality and performance are even better than the advertisements claim. Beautiful to look at, and a joy to use. This was a very, very good investment! The Brondell brand represents tremendous advancements in technology and real art in their designs. I will buy a second Swash 1000 to complete the remodeling of another bathroom in the near future.

I bought the bidet seat for my late husband so I didn't have to wash him in the shower as often. He was 6ft 2 and I am 5ft 2. Cleaning him was much easier with bidet when he sat down. Hospice Occupational Therapist was amazed by it. She thinks every home patients should have one. It is so easy to install with the online video instruction.

I am having shoulder sergery so it is going to be difficult for me to finish going to the bathroom. I was told to purchase a bidet that this would solve my problem. I bought the swash 1000. This took care of my needs and then some. What a great product. I never considered a bidet because of the price and being a man, I felt it was something I really didn't need. Now after owning one I wish I would have bought one long ago. I was concerned about there being enough water presure to throughly clean me back there. I have no complaints with the adiquate water presure doing the job now that I have used the bidet. The key is the adjustible noze, the constant warm water temp. and the wide spray. The swash 1000 meets all those needs. Other reviewers here have noted that the dryer was inadiquate. It works perfactly and does a good job. Adjusting the air temp. is the key to the bidet drying up all of the moisture. I am very pleased with this product. I was looking at a cheaper Brondell model to buy but I am glad I went with the swash 1000 instead because of it's features, they all work very well!!

When we remodeled our bathroom, my husband (along with our contractor) suggested we purchase the Brondell Swash 1000 Bidet Seat. I told him he was crazy and he could put it in his bathroom--not mine! But I have been won over quickly and completely. The clean feeling and comfort that you receive from this appliance is fabulous. I am not elderly, but I would recommend this to anyone, especially those that have mobility and toiletry issues. All of the features work very well. Because it is more visible than a regular toilet seat, it does take away from my perfectly, picked-out-to-match toilet, but the experience is well-worth it.

When I recently observed shoppers fighting over TP at the grocery store like chickens fight over a worm I decided to finally make the move away from paper. Yes, the China Virus was the motivator that got me moving "butt" glad I did and the Mrs. is happy too! Had it all hooked up in 30 minutes, great design say's this retired aircraft machanic. Wished I had installed it sooner, life would have been better while I was recovering from shoulder surgery, that was a challange.

This is one of the easiest installs you will do (10 minutes max)... if you watch the youtube install video you don't have to read the instructions. This seat has a water heater built in so you do not need to add a hot line. I do recommend you take the old supply tube completely off and reinstall a shorter one if it is not a cable type.

I bought it because I wanted to just have a more cleaner feeling. Pros: I love the selection of water temp, spray pattern, pressure and nozzle position. I have found the dryer works but really need to wipe once with paper to get off the excess water. Seem quality built. Easy instalation Cons: It is costly but I get 8+ of problem free use then it's a great value. You feel cleaner. Installation was very simple with nothing more that a pair pliers or a small adjustable wrench. I'm very happy with the quality and build thus far and have no reason to think it will not perform for many years. If I get 8+ years out of it I would say it was a great value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation is not difficult. You don't need to hire a plumber. It works well, but the dryer does not dry you completely. It should be more forceful. I need to use a towel. Other than that, it saves on toilet paper and if you have back problems, which is the reason I purchased it in the first place, it's great. No more twisting to reach back there to wipe yourself. I recommend this product.

I was like you... reading all the great reviews, wondering if this product was really as good as everyone said it was...I was also suffering from a painful rectal fissure for over 2 years. Needless to say, solving rectal pain and finding a personal hygiene product were at the top of my list.. I was also ready to invest in myself, in my health, as best I could.. In a nutshell - WOW - what a total game changer... awesome product..no question.. I normally don't write reviews, but if my comments might help someone else, then it's worth it to me. Pain control - I bought my Brondell just after recovering from rectal surgery. Being told to sit in a warm sitz bath was demoralizing, impractical and of limited value. Yes, I was desperate when I made my purchase, but once installed, I cannot describe my appreciation for this product. The warmth of the water provided pain relief I had not experienced in years. In addition, and just as important, personal hygiene has now gone from being a total hassle to now being a total breeze. I have never been so satisfied and thankful with an online purchase. Because I was in pain, looking for a product to help me - I didn't care about the lack of an electrical outlet. I just simply ran an extension cord in through the bathroom, till an electrician can install a proper outlet. So, if there is no outlet in your bathroom - don't let that stop you. It didn't stop me. My thought was to install the Brondell ASAP, and get the electrician in due time! This was a totally the wise move for me.. Product quality & instillation - After my purchase, I can agree with an earlier post, that the Swash 1000 was a "godsend" for me. It is obviously well made, easy to install, and easy to use every day. No plumber was necessary, and I am all thumbs for sure! I also agree with those who recommend to use the installation video rather that the instruction manual - the video is much easier to follow. I also agree on getting all the extras, as it makes no sense to wish for them in hindsight.. The remote control is a bit intimidating at first, with all the various buttons, but after a few "Swashes" you get the hang of the settings.. For those who hate remote controls, a separate instructional video might be a good idea some day illustrating the various settings.. Quality of life - I know it may sound corny, and repetitive, but this thing will totally change life for the better, I am telling you.. Having used my Brondell for the past month, I will never, never, never go back!!! This is an investment for life.. Water cleans so much better. It's so much more convenient, and there is nothing quite like a warm seat to greet you! It's like a personal spa treatment, for an "under" appreciated area.. ;) Thanks again for a great product, attention to quality, and making life better!

Just recently installed the Brondell CS1000. Installation was easy for any Do-It-Yourselfer and so far the features work great as advertised. The remote control is straight forward and easy to use and can be wall mounted in a magnetized bracket. I wish we had installed this years ago. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new measure cleanliness.
