We selected the Arcadia gazebo to replace a 5 yr old metal gazebo that needed repairs. We are extremely happy with the Arcadia. So well built, and easy to put together with the instructions and on line 3 D videos you supply…our third gazebo, and easily the best. We are using it for a different purpose, hosting backyard concerts, and also for showing movies to the grandchildren and neighborhood kids (we have a big screen setup). People love the “stage”…”where did you get it? We’ve attached a photo of our July 5th concert.

Great gazebo! Looks good and fits our space beautifully. Wife is extremely happy. Will watch to see how it weathers over time. Lessons learned: The instructions provide many opportunities to make mistakes that require disassembly and reassembly. Specifically, the instructions fail to provide accurate indications of top/bottom, front/back, left/right WITHIN in each step. It also doesn’t tell you that you will need two, three, and four people to perform some steps. The online and paper instructions are not the same. Backyard Discovery should assemble the gazebo and validate their instructions every step and sub-step of the way, and update both online and paper instructions. 12 hours is a pretty good estimate for assembly. Customers should be cautioned that the stained wood will most likely be scratched up during assembly. It would be helpful to include a small container of the stain used or at least the brand name and color.

I recently completed erecting this gazebo and I found it to be more difficult to assemble than I thought it would be. I felt that the hardware could have been more simplified being too many different parts and assembling the wood to coincide with it became a chore. I would highly recommend the lay person not attempting to do it yourself.

I would recommend this gazebo. All was well labeled and instructions were very clear. However, I mounted the roof panel after the frame was up and secured. If would have been too heavy for my wife and I to lift. We are seniors and it work out better that way for us

Beautiful addition to our new patio! The gazebo is well made (putting it together was a bit of a process but worth it!). Color, finish, size (we have a gas grill and smoker underneath it with room to spare). Have not yet found stools for it but can’t wait to order some to finish it off.

Very nice piece for your property! Website offers someone to put it together for you for an expensive price. Honestly this project was over whelming coming out of the box.. full table of hardware (nuts, washers and bolts) 2 tarps full of pieces to assemble. Having it together and knowing what I know now I’d pay to have it put together unless you have a solid week of nothing to do… us 2 men got it put together in 4 sun up to sun down days… The app to use to build this is absolutely awesome. 360 view and you can tap every item to see what it is (down to a washer) and rotate it any way you want. I wish every assemble project was on that app. Although we did run into some part number issues and had to refer back to the hard copy Manuel as bolts 999 do not exist in the package and the app calls for them. A few things where off from the app to book but it was easy to figure out once we looked at the book. Still very worth using the app for assembly. 10/10 recommend staining before putting together. Each section and center beams where 4 boards that had to be bolted together to make one board, that seemed like it could have just been one board cut to spec for each section and would have saved about a days labor but I’m not an engineer so take that for what it’s worth. Also the sheet metal roof, each section of the roof (3) sections came with one little small strip of sheet metal to put at the end of each section. The sheet metal could have been cut wider to fit 8 sheets per section instead of 8 and adding the little strip.. that added extra time to the build. Once all together it’s super heavy, very sturdy and beautiful. We used this to cover our concrete pad at the back door to turn it into a covered patio instead of using it as a carport. It worked great and fits right under the gutters almost against the house. All in all PAY someone to put it together for you!

I purchased this Gazebo approximately 1 month ago in July 2025. It went together very well and the instructions were east to follow. The only problem I had was the anchor bolts. Once I had completed the project I went to anchor the Gazebo to the ground. I made sure not to over tighten the bolts to the concrete. The next day when I went outside I found that 6 of the bolt heads had snaped off right at ground level or just below the concrete. This made it impossible to remove the bolts to replace. I had to get a different anchor bolt for the four legs. I went with another type and more heavy duty. Other than that the product is great and I look forward to having it for many years.

The product was packaged very well; no parts were damaged. The assembly instructions were very straightforward and easy to follow. The post base pads need to be 1 inch thick in lieu of the provided 5/8" thick ones to help meet code and to prevent water damage, I was going to purchase store bought pads, but these parts are a unique size. i did get help to secure the back beam and to install the roof, but the rest was easily accomplished myself. I was impressed with the hardware used on the frame, but felt the screw sizes used to attach the purlins and the screws to secure the roof need to be more substantial, in my opinion. I may end up replacing the roof bracket screws with Simpson Strong Tie screws for added peace of mind. i can't easily replace the purlin screws at this point, and I hope high winds will not be their undoing. I was very pleased with this product overall for the materials, construction, and ease of assembly. I also purchased the 14x10 Cordova gazebo and will be assembling it next.

I’ve had it up for about a month now it’s fantastic. It fit perfectly. The directions were easy to read and understand. I had a couple guys put it together for me. They had no issues with it. The only thing is if you guys advised us before we put it up to seal the wood, would’ve made it a heck of a lot easier in sealing it.

I couldn’t be happier with this gazebo. The 14x12 Arcadia is the perfect fit for our patio, providing both shade and a beautiful focal point in the backyard. The cedar wood is rich in color, sturdy, and really elevates the whole space. Assembly does take some time (a solid weekend project for two people), but every piece is well-labeled and precision cut, which made the process straightforward and satisfying. Once assembled, the structure feels rock-solid and has handled both wind and heavy Nebraska summer storms without issue. The modern, lean-to roof design complements the house perfectly and gives just the right amount of height and openness. We added string lights, and now it feels like a true outdoor living room. What I especially appreciate is that it’s functional year-round: it keeps the grill and dining set covered, while still letting in plenty of natural light. For the price, you’re getting something that looks custom-built, but at a fraction of the cost. If you’re on the fence—don’t hesitate. This gazebo is a fantastic investment in both your home’s value and your outdoor lifestyle.
