Backyard Discovery 8' x 6' Saxony Cedar Grill Gazebo

The Saxony XL is a fantastic gazebo! The quality of the materials is incredible. The lumber is excellent quality, the fasteners are very strong, and all comes very efficiently and safely packaged. The instructions are exceptionally detailed. While rekatively easy to assemble, it does take 2 people, 3 is best when lifting the roof. We used a sealer on all wood components before assembling and allowed ample time to dry. 
I would have absolutely no hesitation recommending the Saxony XL Grill Gazebo!

You have to build the roof on the ground. Make sure you have help. At least 3 people.

This purchase was the worst experience we’ve had throughout our years of being members. We paid for the assembly through Sam’s Club. The assembly wasn’t done correctly. We had over 10 different appointments of people either not showing up or receiving the incorrect replacement parts from backyard discovery. The last time we received an incorrect part and we just decided to use that final piece instead of waiting for another order and the parts to get mailed to us. Overall, the whole roof had to be replaced due to the original assemblers damaging the roof during assembly. The process took over two months because of the incompetence of the assembly company, Out of the Box, and Backyard Discovery’s inability to send the correct pieces and parts four times

Stay away!

Very happy with the quality. It did take 4 of us to lift the roof in place. All holes were pre drilled. Would have appreciated a 3/16 concrete drill bit in the kit. Very well packed in 2 long heavy boxes. We picked ours up at the store using a trailer. Only got a little mixed up on the correct bolt to use on the frame. I think the assembler got ahead of the instructions person. All in all, really pleased.
