I bought a month ago. Spent three days putting the sealant and stain on every square inch of cedar wood. Had two guys put together with me assisting on lifting sections. Took about 20 hrs to put completely up. Went together great and looks awesome and very solid. Only thing I did was buy my own concrete bolts. I used 1/2 bolts . It never going anywhere.

I bought this because living in the Pacific Northwest it rains (a lot!) and I wanted an outdoor kitchen that wasn’t weather dependent. I’m really happy with how this turned out! The instructions were easy to follow and I put this together by myself in a weekend. The hardware was all good quality and there were plenty of extras, even though I didn’t need any, and I love that is made from real cedar. It seems durable and I think it’ll last me a long time! And it saved me thousands over my first plan of building my own shelter from cedar. This was a much better decision.

Overall this was an ok install. Much easier to do than if I would have bought all the materials and built it myself. The steps were clear, BUT there were occasions where I did some things incorrectly that I then needed to redo. My list of things I would call out for someone else putting this together: 1. The instructions are written with the front being the taller end. In my case I wanted to have the front be the shorter end. With smaller things, pivoting the item works well, but something of this size and weight I needed to build right to left and reverse terms like "FRONT" and "BACK" 2. When putting the rafters in, some pieces have angled ends and needed to go in a certain direction to fit. 3. There are extra screws, bolts, nuts, etc.. in case you mess something up. 4. If you're anchoring into concrete, a hammer drill is your friend. 5. If you're placing it next to something, account for space to use a drill. It was tight at times to fit a drill in and to access the back of the roof for the edging where we placed it. 6. It comes in a lot of boxes that are heavy, especially the roofing. It took me and one other person about 4 half days to build, and 15 minutes or so at night organizing what bolts we would need for the next day so we could move quicker.

We absolutely love our 14x12 Arcadia gazebo. My husband and I set this up by ourselves. The instructions were impeccable. Although, you do need to have advanced DIY skills in order to tackle we took our time and were able to do it. Every detail was perfectly outlined. The kit itself was extremely high quality. The end product is beautiful and sturdy. We couldn't be happier with it!

I purchased my Backyard Discovery Saxony XL grill gazebo to for our outdoor grill station. All of our parts were in great condition and install was pretty straightforward. It's great having a place to cook and serve hot off the griddle or smoker . Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Fit and finish were great. Does take quite a bit of time to assemble. I was in construction for years and it was challenging. The only help I had was lifting the roof up. Get yourself a set of good clamps to help temporarily holding things in place. A must.

Just absolutely loved the entire experience with this carport. I knew it was going to be a challenge because of the grade where I wanted to place it. There is a good 15" drop from one corner to the opposite corner. Since the posts are hollow I decided to modify the bottoms. I first dug the required holes and filled them with concrete. Then I accurately measured the drop from the highest point to all the other post slabs. I then used 4x4 and 2x8 pressure treated wood to build inserts. I added 5" to all the posts so that the post on the highest point would have a "matching" base. The top of the black paint on the posts are now all level. My approach to this install was when I inventoried everything I stacked all the parts in reverse order from the instructions. I then built all the joists and reverse stacked them in the order that the instructions called for them. Day of the install went so very easy. Literally less than a day to assemble the posts, joists, roof, and anchors. Finished product is so much more than I expected. We love this carport!!

We placed this gazebo on our front patio . It will not be used for grilling. We are adding horizontal cedar boards to the back to block our power boxes. We reversed the side bar tops to the inside of the gazebo and will add high stools so we can enjoy our morning coffee even if its raining. It is beautiful and was easy to construct but did take an entire day. My husband did it all with just a little help from me getting the roof lifted up. It was a great, attractive addition to our patio.

We have a small patio at our back door, so we wanted something that would fit there, that we could sit under and enjoy Spring and Summer listening to the birds at my 6 feeders. It is called a "Grill Gazebo" but it is wide enough to put 2 chairs & a small table under it. We are going to buy a small patio set. It is VERY well made and well worth the discounted price we paid. My husband spent his career in construction, so he had all of the necessary power tools. He worked alone & was not in a hurry, so he finished it over 2 days time then solidly anchored it into the concrete. (I helped push the roof on and it was not heavy to me. I am a pretty healthy age 68 female.) He is pretty picky about quality and he was very pleased with this item.

Purchased the 20x12 kingsport carport and ended up enjoying it so much that two years later I purchased the 24x12 arcadia gazebo. Besides the enjoyment in general they are actually sturdy enough for the Pennsylvania mountains wind and snow…and look cool in the process lol.
