This is the second power washer I have owned. The first (a different brand) died after one day of use! This simpson is way better built. The Honda engine starts on the first pull. The power of the washer is incredible. I hope I holds up under use.

This pressure washer for the money your not gona find anything that comes close.It has a AAATriplex pump, which I think are the best pumps and long as you flush and use a pump saver of some sort after every use they last forever.I have a Window Cleaning and pressure wash business so I put a lot of hours on my machines.This machine is perfect cause you can adjust the pressure with the unloader valve and it also works great to bead blast stuff with.Like I said for the money this machine is the best and can pretty much do everything,just buy it! You won’t regret it,trust me,I own five of them.....

After 3 straight weekends of failures on my old pressure washer I ordered the PS2338-S to replace it. This thing is awesome. Assembly instructions are very well thought out and written. I filled it with oil, filled it with gas, and pulled the cord very lightly and slowly a few times to get the oil and gas flowing inside. On the fourth very light very slow pull the engine started! The engine does backfire when you release the trigger on the lance for the first few uses but after the second or third use it stops doing it, so don’t worry. The included hose that everyone complains about in reviews is in fact stiff, but not in a way that makes it hard to use. I immediately went out and bought the Simpson 50ft braided hose just to have a longer length, nothing wrong with the included hose. My only complaints would be: 1: It’s needs a larger fuel tank for longer jobs. 2: The pressure adjustment knob is too close to the water inlet, it’s not very easy to adjust when the inlet hose is attached. If it was longer, pointed up, or was farther to the left it would be perfect.

I have used thie pressure washer twice. It starts easily - after all it is a Honda engine. The pressure and gpm output is great - works just fine with a PowerFit Surface Cleaner on our driveway and sidewalk. The only complaints are: the red orifice sometimes vibrates out of its holder (it's the one on the top and vibrates a lot), and I wish the wand was longer (needed mostly when using the surface cleaner).

Great little washer! Would have been 5 Stars except their packaging failed and their cheap connector for the hose poked through the box and rubbed one side flat and messed up the threads. Didn't have the fitting in stock so I had to go pay extra to have the fitting machined so I could attach my hose!

The Simpson PS60843 is a beast. With 4400 PSI and 4.0 GPM, it cleans concrete, driveways, and heavy grime fast without having to linger. It runs smoothly, feels solid, and is clearly built for professional or heavy-duty use. Definitely more power than a typical homeowner needs, but if you want speed and real results, this pressure washer delivers.

I really like it. It does such a great job and is easy to use. We bought a surface scrubber too and "Wow" Started right up but I would like to see a pressure gauge on the pump as a reference to how much pressure we are using. Would recomend this Simpson pressure washer to anyone.

I bought this pressure washer as a starter unit for my pressure washer business. This pressure washer is very powerful. The hose is very well made however it is quite difficult to handle since it is steel braided. The Wand is of top quality. When it comes to starting, the motor starts almost instantly and it can hold a high rev for a very long period of time.

Bought the Simpson 4240 at Lowes along with a Surface Cleaner. First use was our front driveway and side walks - the combo did a GREAT job. Between the Simpson's high pressure/high volume output with a stainless steel 15 " surface cleaner - the job went quickly with wonderful results.

I bought this unit for two reasons, Honda engine and power. I can not stress that in the hands of an inexperienced user the probability of damaging something is high. At 4200 psi with 4.0 gpm this unit has some serious kick, you will get a work out after an hour of use. Proper care and periodic maintenance and this pressure washer will last for years.........again proper upkeep. If you got one and it did not work right out of the box more likely it was damaged during transport. Any review from someone down playing this units capabilities or its quality is coming from and average user and not professional.
