looks is not everything. I ordered on line, received on schedule in good condition. assembled the washer started right up and 1 minute into the use the hose blows up. yes very frustrated. its supposed to be a Honda but it is a cheep plastic hose. very surprised at the cost of the item they would use a cheep hose.

I picked up machine yesterday and tried a few attempts to start it up. The machine did not start up the first few times. I decided to try starting it with the choke lever in run and it started right up. I have no idea why. The choke is supposed to be closed. After started it up i decided to test it and i believe it worked fine. Just a bit worried about weather the choke lever is backwards or something. Just hoping run is run and choke is choke

The thing I like the most is the adjustable pressure pump. When you are doing different jobs this is great. Cleaning Driveway to washing vehicles they need different pressures. This pressure washer is a beast and will remove paint so be careful. I been using the machine for two weeks so far and love it. Honda motor is great too, after putting machine together it started on first pull. Well pleased with it. It's worth the extra money to get extra fetchers.

I read reviews pros and cons and night mares I have been using power washers for years and to me you want a tool that out performs your exspectations I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and its performance I must say it does such a good job it can be dangerous to ameratures

I went with Simpson on the recommendation of a friend since he already had a Simpson. I really am glad that I took his advice. I already had a smaller power washer from another manufacturer but was having an issue with it and decided to purchase a new unit. I also wanted to purchase one that was a little more powerful. I couldn't be more pleased with my selection. The Simpson completed the patio cleaning job in half the time that it took me with my previous washer. Thanks Simpson.

After cleaning my long drive and walkway pavers, this pressure washer is fantastic. Lot's of cleaning power for the price. This PW replaces my old Generac PW which was hard to pull start and had only 2700 PSI. The Honda engine is so easy to pull start even when under pressure. I have lot's more to clean and looking forward to doing so.

I bought my pressure washer about a month ago, and so far couldn't be happier. It starts easily and runs great. It has enough power that I was able to get old oil stains out of my driveway which I thought would be there forever. I've also used it to clean the siding of my house and it does a fantastic job. Well worth the money.

I had no previous expereince with pressure washers. The purchase of the PS60843 was my first experience. The packaging was good, the labeling and literature was good. I felt the literature could have discussed/identified the pressure offloader and the thermal offloader some more. After about 2 hours of using the unit, water started leaking out from the pressure offloader valve (I think it is). This is the brass spring loaded valve pointing downwards on the water output. I thought this is how the valve should operate, but the leak was costant, even when the engine was shut off. The leak caused the engine to pulse when the trigger was not depressed. I then checked the valve and it needed tightening. This should have been tightened at the factory and should not have come loose after 2 hours of use. However, this was a minor inconvenience. The engine starts well, if you turn down the pressure regulator to the lowest, and trigger the wand to release pressure. If the engine did not start after two firm pulls, depress the wand trigger again to release the pressure. I would like to have seen a simple fuel level indicator. Currently you have to remove fuel filter from the fuel tank and look inside. This should be fairly easy, but the filter has no real way to be held on too and lifted out without getting jammed against the surfaces of the tank surrounding it. Removing the filter is actually a very delicate and somewhat timely exercise. I made a wire hook to lift the filter out. It is simple and works, but another factory supplied method would have been nice.Perhaps a transparent fuel hose from the tank would be a good indicator. The lowest pressure I was able to get is 2000 PSI. I ran the unit at 3500PSI, but I could have gotten 4,000 or more. I did not want to max out the unit as it is new....break it in slowly. I am yet to play with adjusting the engine trottle using the supplied lever, and see if the pressure would decrease. I have not used the unit since, but will in a few days time. I cannot comment on reliability as yet, but sure hope this unit is reliable....very reliable. Overall, as of now, I believe this is an excellent unit. I am so far pleased with it. Would I purchase it again, yes.

Just got this washer, haven't used it yet.. every time I let go of the wand while it's running the engine quits, they tell me the engine is over pressurizing and need to take it to a dealer which is 60 miles from me plus I need to bring my receipt which I don't have because my son bought it for me for Fathers Day/they won't fix it with out the receipt...I went online and completely registered it with my serial number and name so you would think they should be able to verify my ownership, but apparently not!!...Not Happy!

The first time I used this unit, oil began leaking from the pump. Tractor Supply stepped up and promptly replaced it with a new one. I have since used the new unit for approximately 10 hours total with no problems. I mostly use it attached to a 20" surface cleaner. I wouldn't go any larger than that. The only draw back is the filter at the bottom of the fuel tank is long and points straight up. So, while the tank has a little fuel in it, it will stop running. It's not a big deal. You just have to understand how it works. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a powerful pressure washer. I did add on a quick connect pressure guage, and it does put out 4400 psi. I dialed it back just a little under that. The only reason for the 4 stars is because of the pump leaking and the way the fuel filter is designed. Just fill it with ethanol free fuel so you don't have to worry about ethanol issues and you'll be fine. I only noticed the filter characteristic in the unit because I tried to put just a little fuel in it to test it out. I simply wasn't putting in enough. Also, people tend to skip the 5 star reviews to see what potential issues there are. Glad I bought it. Great price. Not a Honda engine, but the price is also lower because of that. At this time it has the most power for the money.
