Used this pressure washer two times and love everything about it so far. Especially the surface cleaner attachment. Really does a great job and super fast. My only complaint, is the handle makes it hard to move around. Have to bend over to move it.

Bought the PD4240 for may 500 feet of concrete driveway and also the many retaining walls I have. Was afraid it would be big and cumbersome and hard to store but it was not, not any more difficult than my old 2100 PSI machine. It starts easily and is surprisingly good on gas. I love the adjustable output pressure, and it works well with the attachment for driveway cleaning, also a SImpson product.

The good, already assembled except handle that is 2 screws with turn knobs for easy assemble/disassemble. Oil capacity was not correct in the manual (might have oil from manufacturer test) so add and check dipstick as you fill with oil. Started on very on first pull, super easy/light pull to start. works perfectly as advertised, I plan on having and using this pressure washer for 20 years... it cost a little more than the box store ones but it has the superior motor and pump setup for long-term use. Very happy with the purchase! Only thing I would change is the length of the handle... They designed it to be compact for putting in a truck or under work benches... extension tubes would have been a nice option to let us decide on the height. kind of difficult to wheel around due to it being a short handle.

I've had this unit a couple of weeks and I'm amazed with the power the GX200 Honda combined with the Triplex pump produce. The engine at full throttle run super smooth, and don't walk. I'm still experimenting with different engine speeds and pump adjustments. Does'nt seem to use as much gas as I anticipated, which these days is a plus! I have purchased many accessories that will make different tasks easier. Plus, Simpson Customer Service is Stellar!

I bought this washer because it is similar to a unit I have with a Honda GX390 engine. The PS60843 has the same features and is more powerful. I saw negative reviews because of starting issues. Mine popped off first pull and first pull in subsequent uses. My older unit with the Honda engine requires me to pull wand trigger to relieve pressure prior to pulling the cord. I tried pulling cord with no pressure relief on the PS60843 and it popped right off. Don't know why some reviews said it was hard to start. It's a big engine you need some muscle. All in all very happy with unit and price.

Bought this to replace a belt drive that was about 15 years old, wasn’t expecting near the power that the belt drive had but this unit has surprised me. The old unit was 4000 psi 4 gpm and this one’s 4400 psi. 4gpm. I have a large patio and lots of driveway to wash and this machine pushes my 20” surface cleaner great! Very impressed

I am really happy with my purchase although this is the replacement that was sent to me when my first one arrived damaged. I was worried that this one might be a reconditioned one when I smelled gas in the tank. It had also had oil in the engine. But so far it really does the job.

Just got this washer, haven't used it yet.. every time I let go of the wand while it's running the engine quits, they tell me the engine is over pressurizing and need to take it to a dealer which is 60 miles from me plus I need to bring my receipt which I don't have because my son bought it for me for Fathers Day/they won't fix it with out the receipt...I went online and completely registered it with my serial number and name so you would think they should be able to verify my ownership, but apparently not!!...Not Happy!

I read a lot of reviews before buying this unit and Simpson's reputation as a leader in building these played a key role in my finally selecting this unit. I might have overdone it; the thing is a BEAST of a machine. With normal proper care, I'm assuming this will end up going to my grand kids. 4400 PSI will blow away anything you need to blow away. The whole unit is strong, big motor and the AAA pump is one of the best out there. Engine may be Chinese, but they may have learned a thing or two by now, it looks like a quality-built unit & it started on the 2nd pull. The hose is as stiff as a steel cable - guess that's what you need to hold 4400 PSI. One drawback is that once the engine runs, it tends to vibrate around in circles when placed on concrete or flat surface. I have to place it on the ground/grass to hold it in place. Those are about the only negatives. Make sure power is what you want, because if you are looking to get this unit, that's exactly what you'll get!

I am taking away 1 star because I spent 4 hours trying to get it started. Turned out I had to add oil to make it start. That was not clear in the instructions. I tried to just turn the engine over and planed to add the oil if it did. Nowhere did it explained there was an oil sensor that requires oil to be added before it will start. Other than that, very powerful washer. Plenty for around the ranch and shop.
