Perfect for the Shop

To date this is my second Simpson machine in a year. The first one I bought was for my home and after how great it worked I decided to buy another unit for my business. I own a small car repair and oil change shop. I wanted something that had plenty of power to help get rid of oil stains but also didn't break my bank seeing as that I am a small business. Simpson created the perfect model on this one. Tons and I mean tons of power and at the most competitive price in the market. I only use it about once or twice a week for an hour or so but its been perfect. 2 Simpson pressure washers in and I love the product and the brand.

Not Disappointed

I researched reviews of various power washers before choosing the Simpson Power Shot. I wanted one with a Honda motor and high quality pump. Sam's Club had the best price on this model. It is smaller and quieter than other power washers I've used before, but still has plenty of pressure for my needs. It starts easily, usually on the first pull. No problem with the spare nozzles shaking loose which was a complaint I'd read about. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great pressure washer. Easy to start and use.

I live in north central Alabama so mildew grows on areas not exposed to direct sunlight. Simpson pressure washers are highly rated and durability is very important to me. After much research, I purchased my Simpson commercial pressurized sprayer 5/11/18. I also bought the 15" surface cleaner and a 3 foot wand extension. The boxes arrived on time and undamaged. A few days after reading the instructions and completing assembly including adding crankcase oil, I cleaned concrete - sidewalk, driveway and front porch. The GX200 Honda engine is easy to start and runs strong. I have also cleaned 3/4 of my soffits (underside of roof overhang). For reaching higher areas the 3 ft wand extension which works great. I first applied a chemical cleaner to the soffits using the black tip, let it soak for 15 -30 minutes and then sprayed until the soffits were clean. Works great. Still have the back porch and back side soffits to do but am waiting until weather gets cooler.

very good for the price

I shopped around for a few days and found the cheapest price at Sams, even though some companies didn't charge sales tax,it was still cheaper.I have used it once and found it to be very good.I would recommend on getting another hose to connect to the 25ft one it comes with.If you are planning on using a surface cleaner with this pressure washer ,check to see if this has enough GPM to run it effectively you may want to spend extra money on a more powerful unit

Solid Engineering and Good Value

I bought this pressure washer a year ago and pull it out to clean the driveway and patios along with any other things around the house that need to be blasted clean. This unit has proven to be reliable and effective. The Honda engine starts easily with one pull and the washer is a powerful cleaner. I like to use it in the fall to blow leaves out of the landscaping beds onto the lawn for disposal. Great piece of equipment.

Seems to be a good buy

I can't speak on the longevity of the product at this point, but so far it's a great unit. Plenty of power and took less than 5 minutes to assemble and put in service. It comes with a bottle of oil and plenty of signage reminding you to put oil in it, but mine already had the correct amount in the crankcase. Has a nice long hose and seems to be very well built and with a Honda engine it's hard to go wrong!

Nice Machine, but some concerns

The machine was delivered on time and without issue. Easy to assemble. Followed instructions, pulled the cord and started on the very first pull. Impressive!!! After about 20 minutes or so the machine started to violently vibrate and 'almost' lifting entirely off the ground. It stopped vibrating after about 20-30 seconds. Scary.... It does well on gas. The second time I used it, again it also started on the first pull. And again the vibration occurred and stopped in about 20-30 seconds. It does a great job, has plenty of power. Another issue to me is, the manual is poorly written. There are things on the machine that are not identified in the book; such as, one black twist off cap without a dip stick. Overall it's a good machine to this point. I have about 5 total hours of use. My fingers are crossed.

1 year review

I got this as a residential model for cleaning bare concrete. It’s beyond powerful enough. For the price, you will not find more cleaning power. If your looking for a washer to regularly use on a car, I would suggest something with less power, this has taken small bits of paint off of my car.

Lots of Power

I couldn't get it to start at first but finally figured out that I had the throttle setting wrong. The diagram in the Honda Engine manual was a bit confusing. Once I had that sorted out it started right up. I ran it for about 40 minutes and the gas tank was still nearly full. I purchased the dial n wash and found it very effective at controlling the pressure. I love that I can throttle it down and leave the machine running while I reset something to be washed. I still pull the trigger every two minutes or less but at the low running speed I'm guessing there is a lot less stress on the pump as the water comes out of the lance at what seems like household pressure. If it continues to perform as it did today I will be a very happy customer. If not, there is always the warranty.

Excellent product

This is my first pressure washer and I decided to get this particular one because it offered commercial quality at a reasonable price. This is built so well, it will be the first and last pressure washer I will need to buy. It was very gratifying to clean the filthy sidewalk in my front yard with this machine.
