Grilled is the best way!

The Cafe is shut down due to covid and, of course, I want a hot dog. Saw these in the freezer and grabbed a pack. Baked some fresh pretzel buns, grilled some onions & peppers, added spicy brown mustard and OMG! I could eat this every day for the rest of my life!

cheap and sweet

Not tasty. Sweet with artificial meat flavor. They taste like those that come in a jar in brine. I’ll rather pay 2 dollars more and get Nathan’s or Hebrew. If you want to charge almost the same as a great quality hot dog, make it great. Those shouldn’t cost but 4 bucks.

Okay, but definitely not Nathan's

Tried these for the first time over the weekend because I was told Sam's no longer carries the Nathan's 1/4 lb franks. The best I can give them is a solid 'Meh'. Average bulk-pack beef frank. For a family-cookout-grill-dog they are acceptable, but only just. They don't hold a candle to the Nathan's I presume they are meant to replace. Probably won't buy again unless I need a bunch of relatively inexpensive larger franks for a specific reason.

Love These Deli Style Franks!

We purchased these for a cookout we had a couple of months ago and everyone raved over them. Problem now is we have not been able to find them at our local Sam's Club or Sam's Club under 100 miles away!! We hope they will restock soon! We would give them five stars because they were so delicious but gave four since we can't find them now!!

Meh.

The flavor reminds me of Smoky Links but the texture is mealy. There is also no snap when you bite into them. They are also extremely greasy, whether boiled or broiled. Overall, if I'm going to eat something overly processed, the lack of nutrition has to be significantly outweighed by the deliciousness. These miss the mark. I won't be purchasing them again.

Good quality dogs

I only buy these hot dogs now. I'm a little picky on my dogs. I will get Hebrew National, but they don't have those in the large size. These have a nice sausage type taste. The texture is firm with a slight snap when you bite them. They do well when broiled, grilled, cooked in a skillet, or in a Ninja. You can boil them as well, but it doesn't bring out the flavor like dry cooking does.

Cheaper than food court, but negligible.

These franks are about seventy-five cents each, plus the bun at twenty-five cents would cost about a dollar per. Compared to the food court at a dollar and fifty cents including a soda, the cost is very negligible. I doubt Sam's Club goes for any profit with the dogs at the Food Court. However, given the Food Court is closed due to the Wuhan Virus pandemic, this is a great way to enjoy it again.

Just Okay

These are almost too big. They are just too much in my opinion.
