I was expecting a decent cake, but got surprised at how good it tasted it was moist and a very good price you will not find a cake 3 leches with half sheet for less than $60. Everyone loved the cake and could not belive it came from Sam's. Highly recommend 👌

I bought this for a birthday party and it was a hit. Everyone loved it and couldn’t believe I bought it from Sam’s. I loved that there was ample strawberry filling as well. I’m not a fan of buttercream so this was perfect for my family since they also prefer whipped frosting. I bought a half sheet size and it was more than enough for our group of 25 adults and kids.

I’m not a fan of tres leches but my husband wanted one for his birthday so I got the half sheet preordered the day before his party. The message was beautifully written and it looked fantastic with the strawberry stripes on top. I picked it up quite early and they let me know it may still be frozen for a while. It ended up perfectly chilled after sitting out for a few hours and was so refreshing after being at an outdoor event in the Texas summer all morning and afternoon. Everyone, including me, was blown away by how good this cake was. I loved that the topping was light like cool whip and that there was more strawberry filling inside of the cake. This is gonna be my new go-to party cake!

I'll begin with my review by admitting that I served this at a party and everyone else seemed to love it. I did not enjoy it. the huge amount of whipped topping was not good. It had very little flavor and as the cake set out for a few minutes, it became kind of paste like and dry. I also was not expecting all of the strawberry filling and topping piped in with the whipped topping. I just wanted a nice tres leches, which really does not require any other type of topping. It was a huge cake, but it almost $50, I think it was really overpriced. I wish I would have read more reviews before ordering this.

Switching to orders Online is the worst decision ever. I under you to make orders easier for the customer. Actually it’s more difficult placing an order online. I ordered this cake for Father’s Day online. It would not let me say happy Father’s Day so I got a plain cake for Father’s Day, which I was upset. Everybody was looking forward for happy Father’s Day. It may seem it’s not a big deal, but it is when you’re not able to decorate your cake how you want it, especially when you’re paying for it. My family loves Tres Leches so whenever we have get together we buy trea leches cake but unfortunately I’m not able to decorate change the colors anything like I used . For my sons graduation I went to Walmart. People at the store was able to help me with what I wanted so I might just be switching over to Walmart from that one. Bad service
