Great products

I was expecting something amazing. It was good but it did not taste "extra" sharp to me. Just normal.

Why is this cheese so dry and crumbly when previous purchases were not? I couldn't slice it without it completely breaking in small pieces Also, there was a little water inside the package when I opened it. Could it possibly have been frozen?

We have purchased many packages of this cheese but lately the "bad" version has been showing up more often - i.e. sometimes very salty, sometimes too "american" in texture (waxy, creamy), sometimes overly tangy versus sharp

I used this for making homemade Mac and cheese and also for enchiladas. This batch didn’t melt correctly, it was so gross! Both recipes are a staple in our house and this last Batch the cheese ruined the meal. We love it usually but the Sam’s version is different.

When you get what the label promises, this is great cheese. Nice and tangy and crumbly the way it should be. But that isn't always what you get. One time it might be rubbery and barely deserve to be called medium. The next time somewhat rubbery but close to sharp. Serious quality control issues.

Great flavor

This is NOT what I would consider extra sharp. I would probably not even call it sharp.

But I just don’t dare. This Cabot extra sharp cheddar cheese tastes great and I’m not gonna tempt fate for a couple of bucks.

I always bought extra Sharp and it was not colored yellow. It was white and very good. This yellow is more like American cheese. I am not a fan of this "new" version.
