So many mixed reviews about this product. I honestly was nervous ordering it. But after such terrible service and false delivery promises by brick and mortar mattress stores, I hit the internet. I ordered the folding frame and the 12" queen green tea mattress. The boxes were promptly delivered (I received the boxes 3 days after ordering) via FedEx. I did have to enlist the help of a friend to get the boxes not only into the front door but up some stairs. The boxes are heavy and large. However unpacking and setting up were a one woman job and I was able to set up on my own. I have no idea the sorcery that goes into the folding frame. With a quick unfold and a zip up it was ready to go. The mattress was also a quick release from its plastic wrap. I left the mattress alone for 2 days before putting bedding on it and sleeping on it. The mattress reached its full 12" the same day as unpacking it. NOTE OF FULL DISCLOSURE for future buyers: I am only 2 weeks into sleeping on the bed and mattress, but these 2 weeks have been excellent! So comfortable! My first impression was that it was too firm for a back sleeper like myself, but that is not the case. I really hope these products last several years. So far so good and I have no regrets!

We bought our second mattress because we upgraded from a queen to a king. This time we added the box spring to our purchase and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. This mattress is comfortable, the box spring is heavy duty, and we are going to be Zinus customers for a long time. We could not be happier.

Husband falls asleep in 2 seconds. I'm still a little restless, just because I tend to think about why we waited so long. All I want to do is be in my bed and on the weekends i make time to get a nap in. Earlier I told my coworkers, "I think my mattress is making me lazy because I just want to be wrapped up in the comfort." My lower back pain is gone! Yay! Never could have imagined how wonderful my new Zenus bed box spring and bed frame are but the main thing is I sleep pardon the expression like a baby and that doesn't mean I wake up and cry a lot! Fabulous support and yet feels so soft so comfortable I can't believe I didn't know about this until a few months ago. I have been using the king-sized version of this mattress and bi-fold box-spring in my guest room for the last 2 years and all of my family and friends love it. Every single one of them tells me how comfortable this mattress is when they stay. It is a very firm, supportive mattress, even after 2 years or regular use. I plan to buy a the queen set for my own bedroom very soon and my mother plans to buy one soon as well. If you want a softer bed, put a 4-inch memory foam topper on it. The combination of firm support of the mattress and softness of the memory foam will make it feel like you are sleeping in a cloud.

The craziest thing of this BiFold Box Sping is the Assembly process. It took me less than 5 minutes to break the box seal, unpack each of the Boxes, Lay them on the wooden slats of my Bed and unfold them to zip the clothing cover. And I'm pretty sure, It will take the same amount of time to pack them when moving as well. Don't hesitate. Just get this Box Spring and leave everything else to Zinus.

It goes together easy but The stringers go only across and a true box spring has 4 inch squares across the whole top that the mattress sits on. With this you have to put 1/2 plywood on top of it to hold the mattress correctly. This is only good to put a conventional box spring on it.

Totally impressed with the design of this box springs. It is well made and an ingenious idea for the folding mechanism. The covering for the frame is soft and well made. The overall structure is strong and gives the mattress excellent support. I ordered this for a guest bedroom but will consider ordering one for my bedroom. Highly recommend. Shipping box was easy to handle.

I just received my 5 in bifold full size box spring, however I’m now realizing its 1 inch smaller on both ends than the mattress I was going to order. I am having a hard time finding a mattress the same size. Will the extra inch on my mattress look and feel right? Not sure why the dimension's are off. I would think a full size boxspring would be the same dimensions as a full size mattress?

It's only been a few weeks but so far it's pretty good. I'm not waking up in pain. Aside from my 3 year old waking me up and wanting to come lay in our bed..I have not woken up on my own in the middle of the night. If that makes sense. We also bought one for our 5 year old and he seems to be sleeping peacefully as well. I'll let you know in a few more weeks how I feel..
