[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ground turkey can be used in anything that you would normally use ground beef in. It is healthier, less fatty and you really don't even notice a difference in the taste. It is a little more expensive, but totally worth the extra money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Jennie-O lean ground turkey. Was introduced to it a little over a year ago and was instantly hooked. It's so versatileand healthy. My favorite it to brown the turkey, add celery, red, yellow and green bell pepper, season with Himalayan pink salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Slap Ya Mama cajun seasoning, add water, cover and simmer. Add baby spinach when it's almost done and mmmm it's so good! Serve on top of brown rice! Everybody loves it!

Our favorites dishes are usually taco night, or meaty tomato sauce over pasta! It's not like ground chicken that is really bland, it's flavorful before you even put any herbs or spices too. We've never noticed any fatty spots after browning or while eating either.

Usually buy the 3 pound 93% lean and the texture is usually soft when cooked but twice I have noticed a tougher texture like a ground turkey breast or ground chicken breast. There is even a difference in color, raw and after cooking it has a lighter color than usual. I noticed only the times I bought it when it had a lighter color is when the texture is tougher.

We ended up just throwing it away because it tasted so bad. I always thought ground Turkey was just ground Turkey regardless of brand. I will never buy a brand other than Jennie-o.
