Jennie O Ground Turkey - 2 pk, 2.5 lbs each

A bit more pricey than I had expected. BUT if purchased in a major chain grocery store my cost wold still have been much higher. In the long run I still saved money and received a higher quality meat.

Good turkey

This ground turkey is really tastey. We use this for multiple dishes and the family loves it. We even freeze it and use it later, still has good flavor and texture after unthawing for use.

Rising price

This has been a go to item for me for over a year now and it used to be $16. It was raised to almost $19 a few months ago and when I went in today it was almost $21. It's getting to the point where I might have to stop getting it.

Bad Ground Turkey 06/11/26

the batch recently purchased is bad. it gave me a terrible case of diarrhea. i tried it twice just to be sure abd had the same reaction each time. not sure when it went bad but im guessing it's the way the pickup order was stored prior to pickup. if refrigerated items are not kept refrigerated then ofc there's a real chance of meat going bad, especially ground turkey which is akrdy delicate. in all of th decades of purchasing frm Sam's Club this is th 1st time food has bn bad enough to make me sick. The batch %23 on the pkg is 42222 13020

ive been eating tgis ground turkey for over a decade as our family does not eat a lot of red meat. its been a great substitution for years. Recently, whith in the last few months i have notice a great deal of bone fragments which have cause a great deal of tooth pain. Initially i thought it was a coincidence, however the last several pounds ofr of grou d turkey ha e had the same issue. so much so, I am schedule for a dentist appointment as a result. Today inthought id jump on here just to see if by happen stance anyone else experienced the same issue. sad to see that I am not the only one. FIX IT JENNIE O

Has a lot of bone and gristle

I bought two packs of the 5 pound of ground turkey because it's a lot cheaper at Sam's than it is in the grocery store. however, while eating, I have realized there's a lot of bones or gristle in the meat. Practically every other bite that I take, this is extremely disappointing because I spent so much money on this meat. I'm not sure if it's just at Sam's Club that it's like this because I've had a piece of bone or gristle here and there every once in a blue moon when I buy it from a regular grocery store, but not like I've experienced with this batch. I divided up the meat and and put 1 pound in each freezer bag. From both packages I got a total of 11 pounds of ground turkey now it seems as though I'll have to throw it out and this was a waste of money. I spent $44 on 11 pounds of meat that's no good to eat. I was eating ground turkey and have been because it's a much healthier option than ground beef but maybe I'll just have to go back to ground beef.
