This is very good quality and good tasting ground turkey. I use it in a number of different recipes for crockpot and pan dishes. The price is very good especially in relation to the quality. The way it is wrapped so tightly most likely enhances the freshness.

The BEST BEST way to buy your ground turkey. I don't always have time to cook and since majority of my dishes require me to brown the meat first, I cook all the Turkey then freeze it in 1 lb batches that are easy to drop into my meals later. With this value-saving purchase, I do 5 lbs that lay flat in my freezer waiting for that next yummy meal. JoAnn was so right when she said this was a great option

I bought two packs of the 5 pound of ground turkey because it’s a lot cheaper at Sam’s than it is in the grocery store. however, while eating, I have realized there’s a lot of bones or gristle in the meat. Practically every other bite that I take, this is extremely disappointing because I spent so much money on this meat. I’m not sure if it’s just at Sam’s Club that it’s like this because I’ve had a piece of bone or gristle here and there every once in a blue moon when I buy it from a regular grocery store, but not like I’ve experienced with this batch. I divided up the meat and and put 1 pound in each freezer bag. From both packages I got a total of 11 pounds of ground turkey now it seems as though I’ll have to throw it out and this was a waste of money. I spent $44 on 11 pounds of meat that’s no good to eat. I was eating ground turkey and have been because it’s a much healthier option than ground beef but maybe I’ll just have to go back to ground beef.

You get a large quantity of turkey in this package! It cooks up nicely, but I am giving it 4 stars because it is pretty watery and you have to drain the meat after cooking (more than using other ground turkey brands). It's not a huge deal, just something I wish I didn't always have to mess with.

Second time I purchase this turkey burger. Its great I make foods I normally make with ground beef. Im not saying it taste like beef but it does have a very good taste and is a really good alternative if you are thinking of cutting back on the red meats.

We have been buying this ground turkey at Sam's for years and it is the best! It is perfect for burgers and meatloaf and everything else you can use regular ground meat for with no orange fat that remains in the pot after cooking. It holds up to grilling on the grill, too.

I visited the store to pickup a replacement membership card & was surprised by the discontinued need for it. Being a 72yr old who is not electronic minded, thankfully I was assisted by a very nice young lady in customer service who logged me in to the system & instructed me how to shop & use it. As always, I am pleased with my purchases & love that it saves so much time checking out since I shop for my household only.

Great tasting ground turkey. I use this as an alternative to ground beef in all of our dishes. It's 93% lean so there is barely any grease one it's cooked up, and it freezes well once cooked (I've not tried to freeze it raw). In meal prepping, I've cooked it with just a few spices to eat plain, made chili and spaghetti meats, burgers, etc. then portion and freeze. The ground turkey always tastes great once reheated.

Beware...this Turkey goes bad before the “Sell By” date on the package. I have had it go bad two days before the date. I’m now double checking the packages in the store to ensure I have at least a week before the “Sell By” date. If not I will immediately freeze them when I get home to make sure I’m good. I’ve had to throw away two packages already because they went bad the day before the “Sell By” date.
