I just bought this gazebo last year and put together this April. The gazebo is nice but the screen has holes everywhere not small holes big rips. This wAs a lot of money for the screen to be thus ruined already

GREAT WILL BUY AGAIN

I extensively read the previous reviews to have a good understanding of what I was getting into. There were no locations near me that had this pre-built to view, so I wanted to be fairly clear before I committed to it. What I found to be true for me: It took about 8-10 hours to build. I've done lots of projects over the years, and had the appropriate tools. I was deliberate in my approach, so I didn't create any issues that I'd regret later. I used a 10 mm socket and impact wrench for much of the construction. I pre-drilled the holes for the self-tapping screws, as they seemed to wander a bit if I didn't do this. The one step that I needed assistance for was when I attached the posts to the rails to create the initial frame. I did not find any mis-aligned or improperly pre-drilled holes. Maybe those issues from previous reviews have been fixed by now. The instructions were good, and the spare parts section of the fasteners was a great plus! I never needed them, but most projects will involve misplacing SOMETHING, so it was good for my peace of mind. There is not a secondary track for curtains (a pending question here), but curtain rod hangers can easily be adapted to the bolts inside of the frame rails. I also like the fact that the small top section can be quickly removed; I plan to create something other than the hook provided to hold a ceiling fan, so I need easier access to this section. Most of the design and building steps seem well thought-out to me. The metal frame inside of the shipping boxes was also a great idea. My shipment seemed a bit beat up on the outside of the boxes, but almost everything inside was in great shape. I do agree with a couple of the previous reviews - a small bottle of touch-up paint would be nice. There were definitely a few superficial scratches and dings. All in all I'm very happy so far.

I reviewed quite a few descriptions on line for a gazebo for my patio and settled on this one. It has exceeded my expectations. First it was packaged with aluminum framing to protect the parts, second the quality of material and fit was much better than I anticipated. I only needed some help putting up the roof struts and top canopy. The rest I did by my self. The fit of the parts was really good.

We are so happy with the decision to buy this structure! It came so well packaged! There was no damage which seems rare these days! The pieces and instructions were well labeled and easy to follow/find. We made it a family project and finished in a little under 4 hrs. Kids unpackaged and sorted helped find parts and built the top structure (which they thought was pretty cool!) while my husband and I constructed. An impact driver/drill is a must! And a ladder. The reviews were helpful to read and be prepared. We sit under it every day and it makes our backyard that much more enjoyable and usable for rainy days!
