Gazebo is great. Good directions for putting it together. Shipped before due date. Enjoying it now

This gazebo is extremely well designed and high quality. Even the shipping boxes had thought put into them (including a rigid frame inside) to protect the gazebo parts during shipping. The directions were well written, the parts well marked, and the assembly was quite easy. Took less time to complete than I anticipated - my wife and I did it together in several evening sessions, including laying out the parts and preassembling, and about a half day of completing the entire assembly on our deck. We are extremely happy with the gazebo and how it looks!

Before purchasing, I read all the reviews so I know what we would be getting into on the assembly. There was one reviewer who mentioned using a 10mm socket to help assemble, which was fantastic info. There are a few crucial steps to make this assembly much faster and easier. 1) have at least 3 people (we had 3 part of the time, then a 4th jumped in) 2) use a drill and a 10mm socket, and not the tools they supplied 3) this is probably the most important step DO NOT TIGHTEN THE BOLTS/SCREWS DOWN TIGHT UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL THE HOLES LINED UP PROPERLY. This was the key to NOT having to drill new holes. It allows you to shift each section so it lines up properly. The instructions were easy to follow. It took 4 1/2 hrs to assemble (mind you, this is the guys stopping periodically for snacks, drinks, and having fun). It is a very solid piece and came in 2 boxes with metal frames inside the box (to prevent box crushing) totaling 484lbs. They arrived on a pallet and delivered to our garage. We took the pieces out, laid them in the yard in an alphabetical row which allow the pieces to be found easy as we went through the instructions. The mosquito netting is nice. I do wish they offered solid panels as well even as an optional purchase. However, the grommet hooks that you use for the netting will allow you to swap out the curtain once you find one to fit.

I read the comments prior to buying. The best advice given was to just snug the bolts, don't tighten until it is completely fabricated. Doing that made it very easy to line up holes if some movement was needed. The instructions were adequate if you read them first (always recommended!) and figured out what you were supposed to do first, and took your time. I prefabbed whatever I could and everything went together just fine. Very solid construction once you go around and tighten everything once it is all together - don't over tighten. It was packed well - no damage - delivered on time - looks great. My wife loves it, well worth the money. It took me a about 16 hours total, by myself, with a little help from my wife with the main frame. I wasn't in a hurry.

First, I want to say I really do love this. It's beautiful, seems incredibly well built/sturdy and I believe I will be pleased with it for many years. I gave it four stars for two reasons. 1. The assembly was tricky due to several pre-drilled holes that were not aligned for proper mounting - they were off by about 3 inches. We ended up having to drill our own holes with self-tapping screws to secure these pieces. Also several of the welds broke on the bolt holes causing it to just spin when turning the bolt. Last, one piece was damaged (looks like it was maybe crushed during shipping) but we were able to use pliers to reshape it and it was functional (and not visible since it was an upper roof part). 2. The way the netting fits in the corners is just poorly designed. Because it hooks on the inside of the frame the hooks are on either side of the corner with nothing in the corner pulling the net against the corner so it is leaving a large gap which will easily allow bugs in. I also think the netting design around the upper section (roof) is poor and will do little to keep bugs out. But we will see. I've only had it up 24 hours. Overall hubby and I assembled this in 3 days (only a few hours each day after work) so roughly 8-10 hours in total.

I am so happy that I did purchase this item. You have to go slow while putting the gazebo together to make sure the holes line up correctly. There are a couple of areas that needed an extra hole drilled. But other than that I would purchase this gazebo again and recommend it to others. Sincerely, Michelle Dimitro

Had to return this item. As we were putting it together we got to a part where these thick metal plates had been pre-drilled and NONE of the holes lined up with the holes they were supposed to go into on the other pieces. Sad because we really liked the look of this item, but whoever is fabricating it is not doing a very good job. I even remember reading another review of this same issue.

I bought this through my online access to Sam's Club for a holiday discount. The item arrived in great shape.. The packaging was the best I had seen for an item in a very long time.. It was a bit daunting to put together but my wife and I did in a single day in the Texas heat and it fit together great.. Neighbors already taking pictures of what we put up..

This product comes in one very large and heavy box. Definitely need help to move it around. Packaged very nicely and very securely. Assembly takes time and the instructions can be a bit confusing. Found myself having to go back and redo a few things because the instructions were not clear. You can definitely tell that someone in China was trying to translate the English instructions. This took about 10 hours to assemble and seems very sturdy. Nice value. Hope it holds up to time.
