Awful chair, even worse customer service!

I purchased this chair 16 months ago and it is already in the dumpster since LaZBoy or True Innovations do not stand by their products! DO NOT believe the 10 year warranty stated on this page, it does not cover the actual mechanics of the chair. The bolt/screw that hold the seat of the chair to back through the arm broke off in the seat and they (True Innovations) will not repair or replace this faulty/poor construction. Sitting on a pile of bricks would be better than purchasing this chair or talking to their "customer service" staff.

Can't recommend

Bought the chair two months ago. To assembly you lift the back and it pops in place. The only problem is it pops out very easily. Feels like I might fall out the back. The entire chair other than the lift cylinder is plastic Thus the arms are too flimsy to hold the back in place. I've tried calling the 800 number but very difficult to get to anyone.

Excellent Chair

Very great quality. I've had the chair for over 2 years now and it still works and looks as it did the first day I got it. It's for personal use and I use it several times a day and I weigh 340 so the fact it's still holding up so well is amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Returned

Broke within 1 month Very disappointed! The back was the first thing to give out, the the seat. Hardly used it. Not sure if La-z-boy has gone down hill or if this is a knock off but was returned within 1 month and glad that I had purchased the extended warranty. Shame because it is a very nice looking and comfortable chair

Poor Design. Poor Warranty Support

Save yourself some headache and do not buy this chair. It is just a bad design with a warranty that will not be honored. The chair back is 'secured' to each arm by a spring-loaded metal peg, both which got stuck and failed within 6 months. It took several attempts to connect to someone about warranty and they rejected the warranty request anyway. I also tried talking to the Sam's Manager thinking they could help...he said he could not. One of the most disappointing purchases I have ever made.
