Bought this to replace my son's bed and he loves it. He sleeps better and says it is very comfortable. We did get an adjustable base, and he really likes to zero gravity feature. Sometimes he has to lay flat though if he is moving around a lot, the zero gravity prevents his turning over all the way.

I really hate to give a poor review but I just cannot get a good night's sleep on this mattress. I wake with aches and pains every morning and some mornings with a headache. I do not feel rested because I toss and turn throughout the night. I made the mistake of purchasing the mattress from somewhere other than Tempur-Pedic and cannot get them to honor the exchange/refund process that Tempur-Pedic provides. Highly recommend that Tempur-Pedic sell their own mattress in order to allow customers to utilize the exchange/refund which keeps customers happy even if they are not happy with the mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As constantly reminded by our daughters, my wife and I were way overdue for a new mattress. In making a decision, we were determined to research all available mattresses. The choices were mind-numbing and very confusing. In the end, however, we reverted to our long time preference to buy only the best. Tempur-Pedic is the brand we had always heard WAS the best. The rest was easy. We had recently purchased an 8K TV for our bedroom, so we chose the Tempur-ProAdapt medium hybrid split king, together with the Tempur Ergo split king adjustable base. Everything about the purchase process was 5-Star, and we now look forward to a great night's sleep, each and every night. We could not be more satisfied!

My last tempur-pedic lasted 20 years and was wonderful, but did finally get old. So, we bought this one last month and it is even better - so soft and comfy. We both slept better than ever. My husband weighs twice as much as I do, so when he rolls over, on most beds I feel it. With this one I don't. There is no slope when he is in bed either. It has support right up to the edges too. It's taller than the last one, so that took a bit of getting used to, but we have. For us, this is the very best bed possible (and we have tried many).

Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Split King with adjustable base: Excellent comfort whether sleeping, reading, watching TV, etc. Definitely worth spending the extra to get the Ergo Extend Adjustable Base so that when you adjust to a more upright position neither you or your mattress slide down toward the foot of the bed. And the mattress does not sleep "hot". (We had the original Tempurpedic mattress for many years and loved it, but decided to upgrade to the adjustable series, which is excellent.)

Well, our choice was Firm, and it is. It feels like a bench when you first sit on it, but in a few seconds you sink in just enough to be cradled. A perfect balance of 'no saggy spots' and 'no pressure on shoulders, hips, or knees. The other treat is that when either I or my wife get up (in the night) or first out of bed, the mattress does not move/jiggle. You don't know the other has gone - and you just keep sleeping. Our previous mattresses were top quality, but with springs. This one doesn't flex like that - which is great.

This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. The temper-pedic pro-adapt hybrid mattress gives us a very comfortable sleep and a company that we have come to trust and appreciate. Brent & Loraine Lawyer

I've tried several different beds in the past and decided to give Tempur-Pedic a try and let me just say that they did not disappoint. I splurged and bought myself the king medium hybrid and have been sleeping through the night. Usually I toss and turn but this thing is so comfortable. I don't get back pain and when I workout hard and have sore muscles it's comforting to get to just lay on it and know I'll be getting a good nights sleep. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!!

I have 4 bulging discs in my back and sleeping had become so painful I'd opt to sleep on the floor or couch at times. I also sleep hot and experienced the heat of a poor quality memory foam. Since getting my ProAdapt Firm I'm finally able to sleep pain-free and get out of the bed without having to creatively "roll" out of bed. I am so in love and grateful. It was quite an investment, but it cut down on numbness and shooting pain was amazing. I did try the Pro Adapt Medium at first because I was afraid the Firm would be too stiff but boy was I wrong so I swapped it for the Firm...go with the Firm if you need the support. It will conform. It is AMAZING. If only I could afford the Tempur Breeze King-size in a Firm so I could get rid of my boyfriend's Nectar!!!!! I'd be winning everywhere.
