I would have given this 5 stars except the top of gel pad is so slick that sheets and Tempur-Pedic's own mattress protector slide around. If Tempur-Pedic would make a mattress protector to actually fit this bed that would stay in place it would be a much better product. Tried it without Smart Climate Dual cover and it is very comfortable but gets very hot.

I'm usually a side sleeper, but I've slept on my back with little or no back pain when I rise. I'm happy with my purchase.

This mattress is the perfect combination of firmness and comfort. I'm 6'3" at 215 lbs this mattress holds it's shape and keeps me sleeping all night long. The order process was a little confusing. I was searching to set up a delivery date, but couldn't find one. I wish the website told that you will be emailed in a few days during the purchase process to set up a delivery date. This message isn't sent to you for a couple of days after purchase. The delivery was very quick and efficient. Highly recommend buying through Tempurpedic.com directly.

So my ultimate heaven of a mattress has had a long back story. I started with the cloud - and I liked it ok (definitely is soft) but it was not supportive enough (I have back pain). I returned it online and then bought the Adapt Medium Hybrid from their Tysons Virginia store. It was excruciating to deal with their online support people and when the delivery company finally came (after a lot of back and forth with Tempur customer service) the company told me they have no documentation about needing to pick up the old mattress (after my confirming with the Tempur multiple times) but they were willing to take it away - after giving them an extra $40 on the side! So - the adapt hybrid helped my back but my shoulder started hurting, I wasn't wild about the bounce, but I would have kept it if it wasn't causing pain- I had it for a couple of weeks tried a topper (helped my shoulder but then my back would hurt). Because I had done a return to online and purchase in store, and my family knew of the bed difficulties, I was offered the additional money as a birthday present and bought the Pro-adapt Medium (which felt perfect when I tried it in the store). I started reading these reviews only after ordering and was terrified it would be too hard given all the reviews. But - it came at last yesterday, at first it was ok but a little firm (and very cold) - I sped up the softening by adding an electric blanket for a few hours. And I have to say this bed is THE BOMB. I'm on a tight budget, and I really think Sealy could easily perform some obvious belt tightening (their processes are necessarily cumbersome, outmoded and there seem to be countless people employed who are rather unhelpful (honestly clueless and useless and I don't say this lightly). But after all the frustration, and the insane amount of money they charge (plus the 2xs paying their obnoxious $175) I can say the Pro-Adapt Medium is worth it - it is truly a doughy oasis - no pain at all - perfect softness and yumminess, but also supportive.

We have the best nights sleep now. We had heard rumors that we would need time to get used to our new mattress. We adapted the very first night. The most comfortable mattress ever. It also only takes us about 2 minutes to fall asleep, no more tossing and turning. We have been married for almost 40 years, so we have tested and owned quite a few mattress and this one is by far the best!

It's been almost a month now since my purchase and I got to say it is very very comfortable. I'm a side sleeper and coming from a Beautyrest mattress (which slept warm) of 12 years this Pro Adapt Firm affords a cool comfortable sleep. The only problem I am still having is finding the right pillow to sleep on and I do not know if I'll ever find the right pillow. I have this mattress on an adjustable frame and to tell you the truth you have to get one. Reading in bed, watching TV and zero gravity positions are just so great . I had back surgery 8 years ago , the mattress supports me when I change position at night and my night pains are gone. Look, I always kept a pillow under my legs at night because by morning I was jumping in pain with spasms. now with adjusting the bed heights and raising the mattress by my legs no more spasms. In fact my whole body is very relaxed the next morning and I like that. This mattress and adjustable frame is worth every penny spent giving me peace of mind to pay off this expense over time

We love our split king pro adapt medium hybrid. I also love the pillows we ordered. We got 2 king size from the cloud collection. It was the $200 one with cooling technology. We also got the 2 for $99 cloud cooling regular size for between my knees. The customer service is awesome. We had a celebrity mattress that was discontinued. It was causing back pain. They refunded the price that was paid 9 years ago to go toward a new mattress. I highly recommend tempurpedic. I love the cooling technology!!!

in my simple opinion, the bed is fine I don't know if the bed I chose is very hard but since I bought the bed I haven't been able to sleep a whole night what I sleep is like four or five hours as I said before maybe I chose the very firm bed I thought that by buying this bed I would rest more but it is not like that always when I get up in the morning I get up with back pain I will try to see if I can exchange and then update this review

Our new mattress is wonderful! I love that I am not affected by my husband's movement during the night. The temperature is always comfortable and I don't get overheated like I did with our old mattress. I sleep through the night and wake up feeling refreshed and not achy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As mentioned in the other reviews, if you want something that is in the medium side, you have to buy the soft version. It will feel a bit firm when new but will eventually break in. With the Tempurpedic protector, I don't fee the cooling properties much. In warm nights, I wake up sweating and had to change my shirt a couple of times in several occurrences. I am not overweight or have health conditions. Just saying. Overall a great purchase. You will appreciate it more when sleeping elsewhere for a couple of days, and coming home to your Tempurpedic! Don't settle for less.
