I have owned 2 Sleep Number beds for many years. The first Sleep number bed, the Mattress topper was sinking in the middle when it was set for 100. The second bed did not inflate to the number you programmed. Given the disappointment and expense of the Sleep Number Beds, I decided that I was going to try a Tempur-Pedic Mattress and I absolutely LOVE it !! I get a great night sleep and do not have any Back or Shoulder pain anymore. After trying several other Mattresses, this one is the BEST for me and I highly recommend it. Thank you, Tempur-Pedic !!

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. Me da pena porque después de casi tres meses, mi colchón todavía no se siente suave y cómodo. Por otro lado, estuve enferma en cama por una semana y nunca experimenté dolor de espalda como en otras ocasiones con otros colchones después de estar en cama tanto tiempo.

Historically I have purchased relatively expensive traditional mattresses with varying success at comfort. For my last mattress, I moved to a well reviewed traditional name brand, memory foam mattress and had a great experience (I thought) for about the first 3 years; ultimately over the course of the last 2 years developing soft spots and a general feeling of sinking into the mattress worse than I had with traditional mattresses. I don't know how the pro-adapt hybrid mattress will fair over time, but I can tell you it is better on one day one than my all my previous mattresses have been, being incredibly forgiving on body curves while still being supportive. I am 6'1", average around 220 lbs, am a side sleeper, and have had two L5/S1 procedures. Where historically I'd turn over due to pressure points in my shoulder, hips or back (traditional mattress) or felt like I was trying to turn over in wet sand (all memory foam), the pro-adapt med hybrid is perfect for my weight and sleeping style. I acknowledge there is generally a price premium to Tempur-Pedic, and I will have to evaluate performance over the long term, but I definitely feel that this mattress type (hybrid) is executed well, suited to my weight and sleeping style, and that I'm getting a better, much less interrupted night's sleep than I have in perhaps a decade (I turn MUCH less). Recommend the brand, but also recommend taking the time to try out and find the correct version for you.

I love this mattress. I've had a Tempurpedic mattress for almost 20 years. When we bought a split king bed, I chose a soft mattress for my side after years of the medium firmness my husband likes. I prefer to sleep on my side and I'm finally waking up without a sore shoulder. I highly recommend this mattress for any side sleeper.

We bought a Tempur-pedic mattress decades ago when they first came out... Then year's ago we bought a Sleep Number Adjustable bed... Now once again, we own a Tempur-pedic with their adjustable base. There is no comparison to the comfort and the base operates much smoother than the SN.

Our former bed was not good & left us feeling unrest in the morning. Once we got this bed we both where able to get a excellent night sleep , increased out motivation. So much that my partner had enough energy to start working out again & lost 15 pounds and no longer needs surgery . He's still has minor back issues but that from driving all day at his job but NOTHING like before . He can actually walk 4 miles vs. not being able to walk at round the block ! Sleep is everything & affects so many areas of a persons life. I highly recommend this bed. The service we received though out the process was great , from ordering it to set up was easy & no issues . It's one of the best moves we made !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great support for your back overall. Very with the cooling feature, it stays pretty cool throughout the night. The hybrid is a great option for me and my wife, we dont get that sinking feeling as much and its much easier to get in and out of bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have slept on the Tempur pro adapt medium for 5 nights. I have never slept on a mattress like this before now. I had another brand that is basically springs and a little padding. The Tempur pro adapt forms around my body. It has the right amount of support but also the softness to be comfortable. It had been year's since I had slept through the night. Now I can say that I get a full 8 hours of sleep. My husband said its the most comfortable mattress he has ever owned. I go to bed before him and I don't even feel the movement from him getting into bed. I can actually feel a temperature difference in the new bed. It also comes with a washable cover. The only negative I have is the weight of the mattress. It definitely takes two people to move the mattress around but how often would you move a mattress around your room? Overall I am excited to have this mattress and I would recommend the Tempur pro adapt. Everyone should enjoy a restful nights sleep. We spend a good portion of our lives in bed. It should be comfortable. One more positive about this mattress. I use to have hip pain and I haven't experienced it since sleeping on this mattress. Take a chance and experience it for yourself.

We went into our Sleep Outfitters expecting go buy a more standard mattress. After trying several products we were encouraged to try the Temperdic. I have had recent back problems so was not afraid to spend the money on the Pro-adapt. I knew I could return it and choose something else if not pleased. As they say, after 3 weeks use, you will have to "pry this wonderful product out of my cold dead hands." It is just that comfortable. The sales staff at our store was very helpful and not at all pushy.

I have waited a few months to provide my review to allow my body and mind to adjust to the huge change. I was previously using a very cheap pillowtop mattress. After 3 months, I can say this is the most comfortable mattress I probably could own, unless I get a few tax brackets higher and find a gold plated cloud some how. My one issue is how I am a hot body person and sleep hot compared to most, I need the AC to blast to keep me from sweating at night because the temperature of my body is held by the bed very well and it is a little hard to stay asleep sometimes for that reason. For hot sleepers, I would recommend another option. As far as the softness, I got the softest option. I was hoping for the most lux feeling with having back support simultaneously. This went pretty well for me so far, but again, the softness makes the bed conform to your body, so when you have the fluffiness around the edges of your body, you are getting insulation from the bed, and that free heat may help or hurt some! I don't like that aspect but I keep AC high anyways because I'm very warm blooded. I haven't had any back problems since getting the bed and adjusting (adjustment took a week or two, body was sore to the bone while getting used to the new mattress). I was having weekly back problems from a car wreck a few years ago. I think I hit the nail on the head for the most part, but thinking back, I would have gotten a slightly-more-firm option than SOFT.
