I've now had this TV for just over 12 months. For the first 7 months or so the TV was awesome. I was reluctant to get a Google TV as I have had one in the past from another company and had nothing but issues with it. But I had great experiences with the TCL Roku TVs, so I gave this TCL Google one a shot. About 6 months in, it had small light bleed in the corners, but it wasn't noticeable unless watching really dark scenes. Now i have light bleed about two thirds of the top half of the screen, and about a third of the bottom. It is also noticeable during medium lit scenes. When I first purchased the TV, the menu was crisp and fast. Response was fast to my inputs. Now, it takes forever to load anything, if it even loads it at all. Half the apps get stuck on their loading screens, or crash when trying to watch a movie or show, sometimes automatically restarting the entire TV. A few apps I have to go into the settings, manually stop and reopen for them to work. The TV is approximately 20' from the router, showing great wifi connection to a half-gig/second internet service, and fully updated. I am disappointed in TCL and will definitely not be getting another Google TV.

It took less than 30 minutes to unbox and sign in to our streaming accounts. I was impressed by the picture and sound quality, which is the best I have seen. One feature I particularly love is that it connected to our WIFI, and I can use my phone as a remote, especially since my kids will probably lose the actual remote quickly.

Being a smart TV there are so many options and apps you can do with it the sounds quality is incredible it is super easy to navigate with the remote and has great connection to my WiFi networks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TCL 4K UHD TV, I have a 43" diagonal. I love it, it's very bright, light and thin, perfect for my bedroom. The sound quality is also high, the volume is quite strong, you can hear it perfectly even at 6-8, unlike many other TVs. I set it up quickly enough by downloading the Google app. And additionally entering my Wi-Fi password. I also liked the remote control, which has a quick access button to YouTube, which is very convenient for me. TCL also offers a 90-day guarantee for registering on their website, which can be helpful.

I currently have this TV in my Guest Room and the picture quality of the TV is great for them and was thinking about getting a soundbar for it but the TV itself sounds great. I also have other TCL TV’s I definitely prefer the Roku version compared to the Google as the set up process was a lot longer and the remote on the Roku is smaller which I like better. But overall a great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cheap TV but unbearably bad sound. The Dolby Atmos destroys the audio signal and will create artificial sound drops and will generally ruin any sounds produced by the TV. The picture is also just okay, not sure that I believe the pixel count.
