[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We researched many mattresses. Price was not an option. You see when you have liver failure and colon cancer, you need your sleep. Restful sleep. We decided to save money, then we shopped for a mattress he felt like made him comfortable. We found the Tempur Pedic Adapt in a medium firmness. It's not that we had a huge budget for a mattress, but, sleep in cancer care is vital. So, this was the best choice for him. Our journey has been a long one. I don't have a Tempur Pedic myself, it was best we spent the money on him. I do not regret for one minute the money we spent. It has been well worth it, to see him sleep for at least 5 continuous hours!!!! So, when it comes to health, please, do not spare the expense if it is remotely within your budget.

My husband and I purchased the Adapt Medium King mattress after trying several models. We previously had mid to high end conventional mattresses. We would purchase a new mattress every few years. We were also big mattress flippers, constantly trying to spin it to get a better feel. I typically would wake several times a night and rollover to get more comfortable. Additionally I had been experiencing side hip pain which caused me to wake and roll over often. I attributed this to being a middle aged runner and thought it came with the territory. I actually stopped running for a week thinking maybe it would help. Well after a few nights on our new Tempurpedic mattress I must say I was pain free. We have had our mattress for over a month. I sleep great, I am pain free, and best of all I never imagined a bed would feel so good!

I had my first Tempurpedic for over 20 years, told everyone to buy one! I never wanted to get out of bed, I could touch my toes first thing in the morning, it was great! Finally needed a new one so of course I bought a second. I wake up 80% of mornings with the worst lower back pain! I've only had it a year it's only half paid for and I wish I could return it.

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.

We have a ten year old Tempurpedic Cloud that has withstood many guests and three moves. We knew when our own mattress needed replacing, we were looking no father than another Tempurpedic for ourselves. We were getting out of bed with sore joints, and felt a loss of sleep after tossing and turning. We chose the Adapt medium. While my husband likes it more on the firm site, and I like more on the soft side, this was the perfect goldie locks fit. We just love how this molds to us and yet feels cool to the touch. Our sleep is now restful and very comfortable. We traveled for the holidays and found that 'luxury' hotel mattress uncomfortable. When we got home, our Adapt felt like heaven. Don't fall for the other companies who claim they have some secret mattress. Tempurpedic is the original and the master of cradling you. Excellent value and longevity. We also got a couple of cloud pillows... absolute perfection.

I bought the Adapt to replace my 2001 old school era Tempurpedic mattress. It was a seemless switch without any adjustment period. Just more supportive, pressure free, comfortable sleep. Spring mattresses of all sorts put pressure on my hips that leaves me tossing and turning all night. I am highly sensitive. But not my Tempurpedic! I'm a fan for life.

I sell Tempur-Pedic mattresses so I just had to get one of these bad boys for my wife and I. To say the least its been a blessing, I got the Ergo Pro Smart Base with my mattress and my wife absolutely loves it and sees a big difference in her sleeping patterns. Thank you Tempu-Pedic!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this bed for one year and it is excellent. It has held up as expected and is still in supreme condition. It's very comfortable and supports my back. I have sciatic nerve problems and this bed has helped my back every day since I purchased it. The only down side is the cooling cover is not machine washable. This would be nice but it's not the end of the world.

My husband and I FINALLY made the move to purchase a this mattress w/the EASE Adjustable base!! After sleeping in separate rooms for about 3 years because each of us wanted different comfort levels & the snoring issue, we made the decision to purchase Split King beds, and we couldn't be happier!! We sleep better and feel rested when we wake up AND we are sleeping next to each other again! We hung our remotes on the headboard so we can adjust each other's beds should the other start to snore!

Amazing Sleep. This mattress is worth every penny. We spend a 3rd of our life sleeping, so why not make sure you sleep on the greatest mattress ever. I know it could be a little intimidating to spend so much on a mattress, but I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
