[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a couple weeks since I received the Fusion ProShield Razor for free in the mail from Gillette to try out and review as part of the BzzAgent program, and I really like it. A little about me: If you want to know how this performs on the chin, you'll need to read a different review. Instead, I like keeping my head completely bald and my neck completely clean, with a trimmed little beard running down my jawline to give more prominence to my chin. What this means is, I tested the razor mainly on my scalp and on my neck. First, scalp: The "ball" mechanism is great if you use a razor on your scalp. It makes shaving there a little more forgiving, because the blade automatically adjusts to a good angle to shear off the hair without any messy accidents. Before getting this razor, I had mostly given up on this endeavor and was stuck using the shortest blades on my Oster Classic 76 to keep my head almost bald. Now it's as smooth as a baby's. I will definitely buy a refill of cartridges for this purpose alone. Five stars for scalp. Second, neck: I actually prefer cheaper razors for my neck with less flexibility. Why? Because I can see my neck pretty easily in the mirror and am used to shaving it with a more rigid blade without a problem. Also, maintaining the straight hairline along my jaw and chin is actually easier with an inflexible blade system. Four stars for neck. I recognize however that the particulars about how I shave my neck are simply not applicable to many guys, and the flexibility this blade gives around the chin is probably just as great as it is on the scalp, so I would encourage you to to try it if it's in your budget. And if you shave your scalp, and I really like you, I might just get you this for your birthday. -Jordan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the Gillette Fusion with Flexball razor that I received as part of a BzzAgent campaign. I received this product for free but present an unbiased response. I have been using this razor for approximately three weeks now. The razor is large and weights significantly more than a typical disposable razor that I am accustomed to. With five blades the razor provides a significant surface area to cut those pesky whiskers. The flexball allows the razor to easily move along the contours of your face. However, with so much surface area on the blade surface the sheer size is a bit too much. Gillette could maximize the flexball by using less width on the blade. I first used this product with about a week of growth. I found the razors pulled on the long hairs causing a fair amount of pain. This is pretty typical of any razor but the number of blades intensified the effect. Using the razor day-to-day provides a smooth shave that does not require many laps over the face as other cheaper blades do. Using this razor along with shaving gel provides plenty of lubrication to avoid irritating the skin. I would recommend the Gillette Fusion with Flexball to anyone that is looking for a slightly higher caliber razor if you are willing to shell out a few extra bucks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flex ball technology gave me the closest shave I've gotten with a razor ever, and the best part yet, I didn't get a single knick! And what's more its smooth action shaves in one sweep cutting down the time spent shaving. I would recommend it to anyone and it has definitely become my favorite razor.

I liked that it went with the grooves of my face and neck line without knicking my skin. It is one of the best razors I have used.The multiple blades is a must for me. I highly recommend this. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a the Gillett Fusion ProShield Razor with Flexball Technology free from Gillette in exchange for an impartial review. The first thing that I noticed about the Fusion ProShield Razor was the Flexball. I had not seen this before and it was intriguing. The Flexball allows the razor to pivot from side to side which is quite nice. The second thing that I noticed was the strips on either side of the five blades that are to help lubricate your skin before and after the blades pass over it. The third thing is that the razor comes with a precision trimmer on the back. I was excited to try this razor out as it quite a few more bells and whistles on it than your average razor. I have been using it for a few weeks now with and without shaving gel to get a good sense of the razor. I found that the strips allow the razor to glide over your skin easily even without any shaving cream or gel. I did find that I felt less pull on my skin and less irritation on my skin, especially on those areas that I had to go over more than once. No nicks or cuts in the three weeks that I have been using it. The Flexball allowed the razor to follow the contours and curves of my face easily. I am not a person who takes a long time to shave and I found that I was able to get a close shave both quickly and efficiently. The precision trimmer on the back of the razor is also nice to be able to trim my sideburns straight and even. I would have to say that this razor gives me a better shaving experience than the one I was using before I received this one from Gillette. I would recommend this to others if they asked me about it. The only thing keeping it from having five stars is the price. But besides that it is a great razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving so I am hesitant to try new items. It has been a while since I have so I decided to give one a try. Gillette sent me their Fusion ProSheild with Flexball technology for free to give a spin and I have to say, "Great Razor!" It has passed my first test, comfort. I used it to shave under my neck and it was quick and easy. The multiple razors and Flexball allowed me to finish the shave quickly which is important. What I mean is less strokes, which means less aggravation and irritation. It was a clean and close shave. I will know in a few days how regrowth is and that will be the final test but so far so good. I would recommend this product so go get one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After receiving this razor free from Gillette I'll say it appears to made well and is very comfortable in the hand;the blades are extremely easy to replace, and the shaping blade built into the end of the razor is a nice feature. After shaving the first time I found the razor to be almost too flexible to edge around a beard, sideburns, ect. As for the "lubrication before and after" the blade, still irritated my skin like any other razor. In my opinion this a well made razor but delivered an Incredibly average shave.

It totally shattered my expectations, it's movement, lubrication strips, single blade edger wad all just about perfect. Easy to use, no effort needed when shaving around your chin or cheeks. It left my skin so smooth and no razor burns. Try it you will not be disappointed with it. This is going to be my razor from this point on. Great job Gillette! 4 thumbs up from m.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor, by Gillette, makes shaving enjoyable. No more repeated strokes to get every curve on my face. This has eliminated razor burn. My problem area, upper lip, can finally be trimmed without the dread of pain that typically followed. The straight edge razor is great at trimming unruly sideburns. This product has replaced all my other razors.
