I was excited to try these because I love creme brulee. I followed the instructions to broil it, had my oven prepared and put one of the jars in. Not even 2 minutes in, the dish exploded and creme brulee was everywhere. I decided I'll just eat them cold. It was very disappointing the custard had almost no flavor at all to it and the topping didn't help save the dish. This will not be the repurchase item for me.

The glass dishes it comes in are nice, and the price is attractive. The best preparation is torching the sugar vs broiling. Broiling causes the actual creme brulee to heat up too much before the sugar caramelizes. That being said, it taste too much like eggs. If I wanted egg tasting creme brulee I would just make it myself like before. After $40+ in wasted vanilla beans after several tries I just leave it to the professionals now.

I love real créme brulée, so wanted to give these a try for the $10. The first attempt was in the oven, set on Hi broil... uhm, no, not even 4min was long enough, and the instructions say 90 sec. The sugar was definitely not crystallized, and the custard was... like a tofu, but smooth. Maybe I let it cool too long, but it was not appetizing. I ate it, the taste was okay, but not something I'd order from a restaurant. Round two, I used my toaster oven, and it went much quicker - but about 3min - and there was a better crust on top, but still, it was just a layer of caramel. The texture seemed better this time when it was slightly warmer - but that could be me, since I hate tofu textures. Overall, the jars are the best part, you guys... sorry... but true, lol. It is a tasty treat in the perfect portion, but I don't think I'd buy these again, not even for the great jars.

Wow. This was not good. I mean, we each ate about half of one and couldn't finish it. Kinda tasteless and the topping was about the same. We ended up cleaning out the other four glass ramekins and now have a not-bad set of 6 glass ramekins for whatever, so I guess that's a bonus.

Love Creme Brulee, have made it at home many times. However, the texture of this is not smooth and satiny; it is rather lumpy on the tongue. Don't buy this if you are used to good Creme Brulee. It will dissappoint!!!! Poor substitute for authentic CremeBrulee.

Small portion size, but fairly rich. Popped it under the air fryer oven broiler for 2 minutes and the creamy base was still chilled while the top formed a nice caramel crust. Maybe not as flavorful or big as a restaurant version, but good enough for home. Top with some raspberries or drizzle chocolate to add a nicer touch. Ramekins are cute and reusable. Unit price is quite good compared to some supermarket ones that cost a couple dollars for one and not much better. Made in France!

Good, id buy this again. I'm not crazy about the powder caramel that comes w/it.

So delicious and a convenient sweet snack. Don't actually need to put under broiler
