My series 7 is a year old. It shaves well, but leaves a few longer hairs. The cleaning/recharging station is awesome. Shaved particles leak out of the pivoting head and on to my shirt and sink, which I detest.

No instructions on how to select or identify which of 3 shave modes is set. Braun could have included printed instructions, since on-line "help" is useless.

It's a super close shave, easy to use with minimal noise. I do dry shaving and it's worked great. Super easy to clean as well. I'm very happy with this and see me sticking with this one for quite sometime.

I have used Panasonic, Wahl, Phillips, etc. This razor blows them out the water. It feels so smooth and haven't gotten razor burn one bit. The flex head seems to contour around my face well also. I give this razor 2 thumbs up and 5 stars. If your looking for a great face razor this one is a great choice. Promise you wont be disappointed! Also would be a great gift to someone as well :)

I have been a blade shaver for years because I've never been able to get a really close quality shave without it. This razor hugs the face really well and doesn't pull the hair from my face like some rotary shavers have done in the past. It is extremely easy to clean which just takes seconds by just flipping the top off. The battery life is amazing as well as it's lasted 3 weeks already without asking for another charge. I've put the manual shaving to rest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am going to compare this to my Norelco 7310 that Ive had for many years. The Braun fits great in my hands and is quite slim in the handle compared to the barrel shape of my Norelco. The Braun by FAR is the closest shave Ive ever experienced, when Im done all I feel is skin and no stubble at all. i do have some issues with having to go back over my jaw line though due to the flat head shape of the shaver itself. The BUT in my topic post comes from it being terrible if you have a goatee. It cannot get anywhere close to rounding unlike my 3 head shape on the Norelco. Ive found I have to use both to get my goatee shaped correctly. But if you do not have a goatee Id say this is the razor for you

I bought this shaver to replace a Braun 7526 that won't charge anymore. The 7526 was a true gem, out performs the S-7 hands down, no comparison. So I am back using the 7526, but have to use the cord, no biggy. Tried another new head for the S-7, but no luck.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fairly sensitive skin, and little bit of eczema on my face so I am really pretty picky with what I use to shave. I received the Braun Shaver 7020s Solo Silver US, and decided to give it a go. It has a really good design, I love the size, it has a perfect grip. It has a 360 flex so it curves with your face. The shave is nice and smooth. It has a sensor where it adapts to your beards density, which is pretty cool. The razor is also 100% waterproof and can be used wet or dry. You can also click on attachments and it becomes a trimmer. All in all it's a pretty good system.

Had this for a year. After I shave with Braun, I get my Norelco and trim beneath my nostrils and the folds by my nose. And the soft hairs on my neck. Must make three passes before i get a clean shave. I went back to my Norelco and gave the Braun to the wife to try. Needed to make three passes. she says no wonder you gave it to me. So to goodwill it goes. Those of you transitioning from a Norelco. Keep your Norelco. You're going to need it.
