It's a 'good' razor, but not great. TBH for the most expensive electric razor I've ever bought, by far, I expected better. This is also my first Foil shaver after using rotaries for decades. It gives a good close shave, (better than my rotaries), for the majority of my face. I do love the cleaning/charging station. However there are still areas on my face, such as my neck and under my jawline that I need to shave with a disposable.I think a popout trimmer instead of having to change heads and attachments manually would have been much better also. I've only been using it for about a month, and how long it lasts will be the deciding factor of how much of a value it is. All of my rotaries lasted a couple of years before the battery wouldn't take a charge or the blades got too dull to be effective. But they were also less than half the price, Time will tell.

Not sure that I would have bought this when it came with poor instructions on charging the device without the liquid cleaning being activated. Plus it doesn't come with a sideburn attachment. It's more razor than one needs when there are less expensive alternatives.

Over the years I have alternated between multi-head rotary shavers and foil shavers. The foil shavers always gave me a better shave. This foil shaver specifically gives me a better shave with less skin irritation and it's much quieter than my previous shaver. Also, I only fully charged the shaver when I first got it, and I have been using it Monday to Friday for 2 weeks, and it still shows the battery level is basically full. On a final note, I apparently didn't read the product description very well, because this thing came in a massive box that I was not expecting, because they include a ton of accessories that are normally quite pricey.

I will start with the bad. The instructions included with this product could be improved. The instruction sheets are diagrams attempting to explain how to use the product. In some cases, the diagrams are confusing and there is no text explanation available to further explain the proper use of the product. The instructions are the primary reason I am giving the shaver 4 stars and not 5 stars. I have been a blade shaver ever since I started shaving in the 60's. Over the years, I tried to change to an electric shaver to take advantage of the convenience of electric shaving. The shavers I tried all let me down in one way or the other. Many were difficult to use. Some required a cord and others would not stay charged. Most of the shavers I tried would not shave close enough or they would cause razor burn. I gave up on those shavers and returned to blade shaving. I found this shaver kit at Sam's club at a very good price. Braun shavers typically get high reviews and I liked that this was a complete kit, so I thought I would try it. I liked that the kit included the Clean and Renew station as well as refills for the station. There are several attachments for the shaver that I have not tried yet. I probably will over time. The shaver is very easy to use. I am able to obtain a clean and comfortable shave without the razor burn I experienced with other shavers. The Clean and Renew station is a very convenient way to clean and charge the shaver so that it is ready for the next use. The Series 7 is not the top of the line shaver from Braun, but it is working for me, and I think I may have finally transitioned away from blade shaving

Very satisfied. My old Braun was at least 15 years old. My Norelco i had been using most recently did not give me as close of a shave as i like. This one does. Only disappointment is no pop up trimmer, but comes as an attachment. Happy i made this purchase

I saw this razor at Sams Club, and decided to give it a try. I was amazed at just how good the razor is. After a few shaves I discarded my old electric razor, and put my blade and shaving soap back in the drawer. I continue to use this razor, and are still quite pleased with its performance.

I have only used Braun electric razors and have for decades. It was finally time to replace my last one so I opted for this "Series 7" razor. It has a lot of positives but also a few negatives. First the positives: Typical Braun razor quality: if you've owned one before, you understand. Lightweight but sturdy feel. Very close shave for an electric razor. Floating head to meet face contours. Docking/cleaning/recharging station. 4 extra cleaning cartridges. Push button charge/battery indicator on razor. Negatives: Biggest drawback is the "precision trimmer" for sideburns, etc., is a separate attachment, meaning you have to remove the cutting head and replace with the trimmer head. I'm unsure if this feature will wear down over time? Trimmer also has a recessed cutting edge instead of a straight edge. I'm still playing with it to find the best cutting options. Instructions are all pictures: a bit confusing and an eye sore. Lots of "beard" and "beard stubble" heads that I will never use. This is a 5 star shave with the typical Braun quality, but overall I would give it 4.5 stars due to the negatives.

The razor does not have a pop up trimmer like other electric razors. You have to remove the head with the attached blades and install the trimmer. When trying to use the trimmer you cannot see where you are trying to trim since due to bad design by the way the trimmer is designed. There was not any kind of user manual or instructions how to use the included parts and how to use the electric cleaner. The shaver however shaves very close. I would not buy this again.

Works good but strugles with my neck hair.

I bought this shaver because My cheaper, rotary razor would irritate my skin and give me a rash. I will say that this product does not irritate my skin and it does cut close. However, it misses a lot of hair, which causes me to have to back with my cheap razor to finish the job. I go over and over and over areas with the Braun, and it just doesn't cut everything. If you go a couple of days without shaving, this razor can't handle it. You have to use the trimming attachment to cut the hair down lower so the razor can cut it. I. Am not impressed, but I keep using it because it is less irritating on my skin.
