This is not the normal flavor of Wright Brand Bacon I'm use to purchasing, but thought I would give it a try. What a mistake. This is loaded with sugar and takes away from the hickory smoked flavor associated with Wright Brand Bacon. The overall taste is awful and the bacon flavor is just not there. This one should be removed from stores & disappointed customers should be compensated.

This bacon is hands down my favorite commercial bacon of all time. Perfect thickness and a good level of hickory smoked flavor - this is the brand I grab when I want to make BLTs. It's price point is higher than many, but it's sold in 24oz packages and this is one case where you get what you pay for quality wise.

We LOVE this bacon but recently although labeled as thick cut it clearly it is not thick cut. It also fell apart when taking it out of the package. The quality has definitely declined but the price has gone way up. Hopefully it will get back to the great product we have bought for years.

I usually do not review product but the quality of wright bacon has drastically went down. This use to be the best bacon in town but now they are so inconsistent. I can buy three packs and fry them up and all three fry differently. Some have to much sugars some have to much salt etc. They are never the same anymore. I use to love wrights bacon but you never know what you are going to get from one pack to the other it is very disappointing and frustrating. I don't know what else to say but I hope they get a handle on the quality of their bacon because I really did love it. Now not so much now. Please make bacon great again.

This bacon is so delicious! My family and I love thick bacon with deep flavors. Whether it's on sale or not we will purchase it. Plus, it lasts a long time too. We will actually buy two packs: one for the week and the other is frozen for the following week. We have tried other brands in the past and we always keep coming back to this one. When I cook bacon I don't want it to fall apart, shrink, or be burnt; with this bacon I don't have any problems whatsoever. It's very expensive, but to me it's well worth the money.

Change in Flavor and Quality What has happened to my favorite bacon? For the past few months since new packaging, the bacon flavor is not the same. The bacon slices are not as thick a cut as it was and has much more fat than lean. It is difficult to cook because it curls up and cooks so uneven. And it taste terrible compared to the taste and seasoning prior to new packaging and COVID19!!!.Very disappointed, Will not buy again until return to previous recipe. Typical Use: As a main dish

Almost as good as the stuff we made at home some 50 years ago! Don' know you would ever put the smell of hickory smoke in the air on a cold winter morning. Other than that, it is the best bacon you can buy!!! Keep up the good work and see if you can get that smell back in the air down here on the farm!

I'm not a bacon lover, but my family loves this stuff!  It's a breakfast staple in this house and Wright is the only brand we have bought in many years.  The price is great, and the family loves the hickory smoke flavor.  It's not sweet. We buy the big package.  

All though i like all Wright's Brand, i love their Hickory Smoked the best. Real smoke, not too strong, just 'wright'. And, not thin or over thick like others. Next time America's Test Kitchen TV show should compare Wright Brand Bacon too. The only thing negative about the Hickory is that it is never is stock because it is always sold out!

The only complaint I have about your bacon is the price. I would much rather eat your thick cut bacon than the really thin cut stuff I usually have to settle for just because I can't afford the good stuff. I know there is not much that you can do about that so I will end my rant. Other than that, the flavor of most of your bacon products is really good, even the maple flavored.
