Being raised on a farm and butchering our own livestock, I know a thing or two about tasty meats. When we smoked our pork bellies in the smokehouse with real shagbark hickory, it made the finest tasting bacon known to the families in the holler. Wright's musta been smoking their bacon the same way but over the ridge from us because it is the only bacon that compares!

I love most of Wright’s brand bacon because they have so much flavor and taste so good! My favorite type of bacon is thick cut and I love it when it’s a little bit chewy! Not too chewy though because i don’t like having trouble biting into it nor do I like it crunchy! It not only makes breakfast delicious but it also tastes amazing as a sweet treat when you candy it! I definitely recommend this brand to everyone! It’s the best!

This is the best bacon I have ever dragged across my lips. It is referred to as the “good kinda bacon” in our house. Obviously others feel the same as it is regularly out of stock. I fear Sams will stop carrying it some day or start carrying some inferior brand because that is typically what happens.

Typically i would give this 5 stars for the quality and price, but i can't do that anymore with the crazy price increase. Went up $10 recently to over $6/pound up from $4.25/pound. That's crazy quick inflation. What's going on with meat prices lately?

We LOVE this bacon but recently although labeled as thick cut it clearly it is not thick cut. It also fell apart when taking it out of the package. The quality has definitely declined but the price has gone way up. Hopefully it will get back to the great product we have bought for years.

If you are tempted to buy a cheaper brand because it "looks" just as good as Wright's, you WILL be bitterly disappointed! I made this mistake one time when the grocer was out of Wrights. I bought what should have been a very acceptable and comparable product that was locally made, hickory smoked and thick cut, but it turned out to be horrible! Now, I make the extra effort to seek out Wright's, else I just do without until I can find it. Sure, over the years, I've seen product quality issues with Wright's just like one sees with all market brands no matter the product, but, Wright's always seems to recover quickly and returns to their high quality bacon we all know and love! It is not a case of more often than not, it is a case of issues being the rare exception, while consistent quality is the rule! I love the resealable packaging too! Be sure to cook it in an iron fry pan, the way God intended, so you can save the grease for a tasty addition to other dishes, like fried or scrambled eggs, or for the best tasting fried chicken you ever ate! I even fry catfish in it! Delicious!

I started buying Hickory Smoked Bacon about a year ago and it was truly the best bacon I ever tasted. The last month or two...there is a huge difference in the quality of the thickness. It is paper thin on the one end...I no longer consider it thick cut bacon...what is going on in the quality control department.

I have been living the ketogentic lifestyle for over 18 months. Bacon is one of my staples. I have tried several bacon products. By far Wright is hands down my favorite, for taste and thickness. I bake mine as I go through a lot in a weeks time. oh so good !

I usually buy the Hickory Smoked Bacon because that is everyone's favorite. It has just the right balance of seasonings and it is always the same top quality with every package you buy. You can count on the same great flavor in every slice. Thank you Wright Brand Bacon.

I have been searching for an good bacon. Wright’s is excellent. When cooked in the oven at 350F & turned a few times, it does not shrink. It’s like a meat serving instead of a side dish. It has good taste, and it’s not too salty. (Photo: we like our bacon crispy ☺️) I will be purchasing only Wright’s from now on! Thank you!
