I dont know where we went wrong but we cut our grass a d the next day spread the seeds. A week later, those annoying white things and dandelions are still coming up! Last year we used the Scott's turf building Weed and feed and it worked great. I figured let me save a few dollars buying this brand....a waste of 31 dollars!! I will be going back to the Scott's brand after my next cut.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the darker grass in this picture was planted last year on fresh fill that was added to our extra property once we removed an old foundation. The fill was filtered for rocks but contained a variety of roots and seeds. We added grass seed and just let whatever would grow take over. Before applying Weed and Feed, everything looked like the bottom 1/2 of the picture with weeds everywhere. I can't believe how well Weed and Feed works - and how fast it works! Weed and Feed is a bit pricey and would definitely be used more if it were less so. Also, I would love to get the product in a bucket instead of a bag. But those are my only two suggestions. All of that being said though, I will apply Weed and Feed to the rest of the problem areas in my yard. The results can't be beat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Members Mark Weed and Feed product is very easy to use by just pouring it into the spreader and pulling it behind the lawn mower, I wouldnt spread it by hand. We spread ours the day before we were expecting rain so we wouldn't have to water the grass.. My lawn responded great to the fertilizer. It greened up quickly and has gotten thicker. The only problem is the weeds are nowhere near under control.. but my yard was brown and ugly and this brought some life back to it so i would say its still a good product!

The small, colorful particles feel weighty enough to not blow away in the wind, and the multiple colors indicate how much of a varied blend of fertilizer and weed killer it contains. We've had the worst luck in our backyard. It used to have pavers with Mason's sand underneath and small rock chips under that. We used multiple yards of soil and grass seed, and all that seems to grow is clover style grass, dandelions, and what's been called cabbage leaf weeds. (we moved from Florida to Pennsylvania recently and are unsure of what that type of weed is actually called) We used a seed spreader, and the application was easy. We used the weed and feed at dusk 1 day before the weather called for rain. 2 days later, we can see the weeds turning brown. I'm hoping the fertilizer will be as effective as the weed killer. We're keeping a close eye on the grass, as it has southern exposure and full sun, no shade. So far, our grass still looks healthy and bright green without additional watering. We were on our way to purchase this product when the opportunity arose for us to be reimbursed. Save yourself some money and get this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this is my mom's yard. There was plenty to cover everything. I even added a bit extra. You can tell by the picture that is does the job. My only gripe is that it hasn't done anything to the bigger more established weeds.

The first thing I noticed about the Members Mark Weed and Feed was that it didn't have as strong a smell as I'm used to with a weed and feed. I like the good amount of nitrogen in the mix as that will help my lawn become greener. I found the mix to be lightweight enough to be able to spread it easily and where I wanted to spread it. As I only weed and feed part of my lawn, this is important to me.

This weed and feed is great that it fertilizes and takes care of all the weeds at the same time. It was very easy to apply to the lawn. It says it works on contact , but we will be eagerly watching to see the progress. We were pleased with this product so far and it was a very good value.
