I applied the seed to my lawn and noticed within a few hours the dandelions were wilting. The fertilizer strengthened my lawn making it look greener and thicker. The level of effectiveness is outstanding.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. Members Mark weed & feed fertilizer brought my yard back to life. First of all, this 40lb bag was a great value compared to other products this was quite a bit cheaper. This bag easily covered 4000 sq feet. Kills the weeds and feeds my yard for 3 months. Last year my yard was in rough shape. This year it's getting so much greener & healthier.

This was my first time using this product, so I followed the directions carefully, making sure I applied 2 days after mowing and applied on wet grass early in the day. It was very easy to apply using a spreader. However, I do not think it's effective at killing weeds. It only killed a small patch where I spilled some, killing the grass as well. Everywhere else, the clover and dandelions still seem like they are thriving after a week. I'm going to give it another week to see if it improves before trying something different.

It was very easy to apply, you just have to apply to a wet lawn and make sure you are using a rotary or a drop spreader). You want to ensure that you do it on a week where you won't have rain for a couple days because you'd not supposed to water it for the first 2 days and then water well on day 3. So far it appears to be working well for us, our front lawn looks great. This will fertilizer your yard and also kill weeds making your lawn look the best it can. Packaging was good it was very heavy duty so you didn't have to worry about any of the product coming out. This will feed your lawn for up to 3 months! Overall I was very impressed. The directions are extremely specific and I tried to follow them but it rained the next day and I'm not sure if that affected the results. The directions also said to apply when the weeds are young, growing and covered in morning “dew”. I'm not sure how to tell if the weeds were young and I missed the morning dew, so had the sprinklers on before application. Either way, I didn't see a noticeable difference with this. I'm sure it did something, but don't get rid of all of the weeds. I'll assume I didn't apply it 100% as directed b cause it did rain the next day but I don't think I'll apply again. I'm not a big fan of putting these kinds of chemicals on my lawn too often and I don't think it did enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of the darker grass in this picture was planted last year on fresh fill that was added to our extra property once we removed an old foundation. The fill was filtered for rocks but contained a variety of roots and seeds. We added grass seed and just let whatever would grow take over. Before applying Weed and Feed, everything looked like the bottom 1/2 of the picture with weeds everywhere. I can't believe how well Weed and Feed works - and how fast it works! Weed and Feed is a bit pricey and would definitely be used more if it were less so. Also, I would love to get the product in a bucket instead of a bag. But those are my only two suggestions. All of that being said though, I will apply Weed and Feed to the rest of the problem areas in my yard. The results can't be beat!

We have neighbors on both sides that don't take care of their lawn so we're always battling weeds, not this year! My lawn looks great and I haven't had to deal with a bunch of weeds. One application did the whole lawn too which was nice.
