You just take the sticker of the back and plug it in the outlet. Has a huge cover. The back is like a stick paper to catch the bugs.Has a blue uv light for the bugs. It's a nice blue light and not to bright , I mean you could say it's like a nightlight. The packaging is nice and shows how to use it. So this is for fruit flies, house flys, gnats and more. It's simple to put together and take apart, making the ease of use a top reason to get it. As for disposal, I wish there was a hands free way to do it, but it's easy either way. I wish the kid had more traps in it, making the value a no for me. Cost is too high for what you get. Aside from that, it's a functional trap with a side of fashionable for putting out at home.
