I have been using these in my home for years. Gets rid of those pesky little bugs that fly in the Summer when you open the door. Also caught a moth that flew in. No odor or any negatives. It uses blue light and UV light to capture all kinds of pests- house flies, fruit flies, gnats and especially MOSQUITOES! Installation is so easy, you just peel off the protective layer on the cartridge and plug it in. It's silent and not a huge eye sore.
