[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used memory foam mattresses for years in my whole family. This mattress blows all of those other ones out of the water. At first we were a little skeptical about the firmness. Upon laying on the bed at first it feels like it is going to be a hard mattress, but as you lay on it you can feel your body kind of sinking into it. The mattress really does conform to your body. I used to toss and turn all night long trying to find a comfortable spot to sleep in. With this mattress I roll onto my side and I move maybe once during the night to readjust myself, because I no longer feel the aches from being in the same position while sleeping. I love that this mattress does not cause any aches and pains while sleeping in one spot for hours. I can even fall asleep better with this mattress. I have a hard time with falling asleep at night, but I get so comfortable and relaxed in this mattress that that hasn't been an issue. I used to have to take Melatonin just to be able to fall asleep. With this new mattress that has not been an issue for me. The one downside I think of this mattress has is the thickness. I personally prefer a thicker mattress, and a higher bed. That is a small issue in the grand scheme of things and I would choose a comfortable mattress over the depth of a mattress for visual reasons. I would recommend this mattress for anyone who wakes up with everyday aches and pains, because they WILL be gone. You will wake up refreshed and well rested! I love the comfort of my new Tempur-Pedic Medium Hybrid mattress but the foam makes it hot to sleep. It holds your body heat so I'm sleeping hot during the night. I hope I get used to this because it's Spring now and it will be hotter in the summer months. For comfort though, I love the feel of this mattress. Just wish it wasn't so hot. If you sleep hot I might NOT recommend this mattress.

I was hesitant about the price, but after pulling the trigger, I could tell just after the first night for years, it would take me at least 45 minutes in the morning to get moving. Now I get out of bed and I feel 20 years younger and move right away. I should've bought this bed 10 years ago. Go for it you will not regret it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love my tempur pedic. I never toss and turn anymore. I always fall asleep instantly. I don't wake up with back pain anymore. It's definitely worth the money investing in one of these mattresses! I had gone through 3 or 4 "cheap" mattresses in the last 7-10 years and probably spent more doing that!! I've had my tempurpedic for over a year and still 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone. Especially if you wake up with back pain. If you're tired of your dipped in mattress. If you're tired of tossing and turning to fall asleep. This is a no brainer- stop thinking about it and get it!!! (That was my biggest mistake, not getting it sooner!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a more traditional coil spring bed. After a long time looking, I for this bed and fell in love. It helps relieve the joint pain I suffer from. I also love the ergo base i got with it. Perfect combo for me! The one down side is that this bed does sleep hot and I am a hot sleeper to begin with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a Tempur-Pedic bed for about 13 years and it is one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on. I spent 20 years staying in hotels around the world each with a different style or manufacture of their beds. Coming home to relax and sleep in a Tempur -Pedic is as they say "sleeping like a baby"!

Our mattress started out great but after a couple of years my wife started complaining about back pain. We are discovering that she is sinking towards me now while sleeping. The mattress loses its support over time and Tempur Pedic knows it! They have explicit statements in their 10 year warranty (which we were unaware of) that don't cover changes in firmness/support and they will only honor the warranty if your mattress is sagging more than 3/4"!!! That is ridiculous and just shows that they know their mattress won't last! Ours is sagging ~1/2" at the moment but the firmness / support is what matters more and they don't care about that! So just passing on our experience so that you also don't assume that Tempur Pedic is a reputable brand and decide to spend over $2K on a mattress that you will have to discard in a couple of years. Most of the positive comments here are only within the first year but if you look through the bad ratings you'll find some people that cared enough to come back and try to warn you. Read the warranty before you buy and see for yourself!

The first week or so I did not like it much; I am getting used to it. The thing I most dislike about it is that it is not easy to turn over. The mattress seems to drag and stick to your body. I am feeling less hip pain when I get up and for that I am grateful.

I was so excited about our new mattress! I was told it would take a few months to break in and my back to not hurt in the morning. Well it's been over six months and both my husband and I have terrible lower back pain when we get up every morning and it's getting worse! I wake up after about 6 hours of sleep because my back hurts and I can't fall back asleep. Without increasing my pain medications, I am limited to less then 8 hours of sleep on my new mattress, the whole point of getting a new mattress was to help my back pain and not need to take medication! What a waste of money we haven't even paid yet since we financed through a furniture company we are stuck paying for it and will probably have to start sleeping on our 20 year old Sealy postur-pedic again.

This was our first memory foam bed, so we thought we were going straight to the top getting the name everyone knows. This bed was uncomfortable from the first night. It felt much firmer than it did in the store, and after reading more reviews, this is usually rated as a medium-firm on the comfort scale. We thought we would give it a fare chance, and ended up sleeping on it nearly the entire sleep trial, but the discomfort and pressure points that made my arms and hands fall asleep never relented. We ended up sending it back, which cost us $150 in freight charges, and it took a whopping 23 days for the refund to get back to our bank from the date the mattress was picked up. I would only recommend this bed to those who like a firm bed, and have money to burn. This mattress always felt hard as a brick to us, and we never saw the value in it for the premium price.
