The mattress is comfortable, but every set of sheets and mattress protectors (including the Tempur-Protect Mattress Protector) we've used are so slippery that they move all night long. The Tempur-Protect Mattress Protector was supposed to be non-slip, but it it is just as slippery as the other much less expensive ones we've tried.

1. We were super hesitant to spend this much money on a bed. 2. Wasn't 100% sold that it would be worth the money 3. Split King made me wonder if the gaps between my bed and my fiancé's bed would bother me 4. Was concerned the hybrid would be too firm 5. Did i mention the price? 6. couldn't tell if i was sold on the hype or if this really was a good bed. Turns out... 1. you get over it once you realize how much time you spend in a bed and how much a poor nights sleep ruins your day 2. Trust me it's worth it 3. It does sometimes but im in too deep of a slumber to care lol 4. Not at all, for me a soft was too extreme and i went back and forth on this for weeks. the bed gets softer overtime so a hybrid turned out to be perfect 5. If you can finance do it, we pay more than the minimum each month so it's not bad and it's interest free 6. this really is a good bed. I had mild back pain, acid reflux, and another health thing going on and this bed has helped FAR MORE than what i thought was possible for something as simple as a mattress. I felt the benefits immediately (mind you our old bed came from bedrock) but even still it took me no time to fall asleep. my fiancé had the medium (definitely on the firmer side so i do not venture over there lol) and he loves it. Now my cons: 1. Fitted sheets do not stay on this bed and it's the most annoying thing in the world. Buy sheet hooks, you'll thank me later. 2. If i was being super picky, i wish the base was more quiet. hearing my fiancé move his side at night when i'm trying to sleep is annoying 3. the mattress has a tendency to slide on the base. not a whole lot but i am giving it the occasional bump in the morning. Notice how these are mediocre cons? Buy the bed!lol

We are really enjoying the adjustable bed. The mattress is way firmer than in the store but I've been told it will improve as the foam has some expansion to do. Love the fact you don't feel other person when they move or get out of bed. I am concerned that it was recommended by business as the best for back pain but laying on my side I'm having hip pain. Been assured that won't happen after few months.

Early in the 21st century happy family members with Tempur-Pedics convinced us to give one a try. They were right: best sleeping bed in our lives. 18 years later our Queen was going strong but we decided we could spring for a King. Just as fine as our Queen, and a lot bigger. As we age, as one or the other of us has back or sciatica issues, this King will make sleeping much better for the one not suffering at the time. We also sprung for the motor that raises head and feet. A very wise investment both for medical reasons and for reading in bed.

My husband and I FINALLY made the move to purchase a this mattress w/the EASE Adjustable base!! After sleeping in separate rooms for about 3 years because each of us wanted different comfort levels & the snoring issue, we made the decision to purchase Split King beds, and we couldn't be happier!! We sleep better and feel rested when we wake up AND we are sleeping next to each other again! We hung our remotes on the headboard so we can adjust each other's beds should the other start to snore!

I bought a Tempur-Pedic adapt medium. Was told this was a great entry-level mattress. I have chronic insomnia and I hope this would help. It did not .I feel like I'm sleeping on a slab. Now I'm going to have to upgrade in order to get a softer mattress which is not what I intended to have to do

It's hard to remember what sleeps were like before getting this mattress. Actually, it's not. They just weren't that good. I remember waking up and checking my fitness tracker and seeing a "Good" sleep score in the 80's and thinking "I don't really feel all that rested. AND my back hurts." This mattress has changed the way we rest and sleep. I have no pains when I wake up and I'm waking up less than I ever have. The only regret I have is not getting this sooner. My wife was right, per usual.

Sleep and recovery from our days is what makes this worth the price, sure there are less expensive beds but not with these quality materials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We researched many mattresses. Price was not an option. You see when you have liver failure and colon cancer, you need your sleep. Restful sleep. We decided to save money, then we shopped for a mattress he felt like made him comfortable. We found the Tempur Pedic Adapt in a medium firmness. It's not that we had a huge budget for a mattress, but, sleep in cancer care is vital. So, this was the best choice for him. Our journey has been a long one. I don't have a Tempur Pedic myself, it was best we spent the money on him. I do not regret for one minute the money we spent. It has been well worth it, to see him sleep for at least 5 continuous hours!!!! So, when it comes to health, please, do not spare the expense if it is remotely within your budget.

We have the split king, with the adjustable base. After a night of playing around with all the height adjustments, I finely got a full eight hours of sleep, in the past 35 years! Would recommend this bed to anybody!!!! Great job Tempur-Pedic, Great job!!!!
