Get rid of the annoying pointer!
The TV and soundbar are excellent - 5 stars each. The infuriatingly stupid dot/pointer from the remote however completely ruins the experience - so that gets -10 stars. So 3 stars overall in this case is generous. No-one in the family is able to navigate and select what they want without the dot doing something else. Why does anyone in LG think this is a good feature and why isn't there an option to permanently disable it? I'm going to smash the LG remote with a hammer and buy a programmable remote.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT
Excellent product, picture quality is at a different level of enjoyment for me, compared to my previous Sony Bravia. No hesitation in recommending this item for your next investment. User friendly menu, when setting up the various applications - but I do confess my son did the joined up writing for “amplifier” and all other ancillaries. But it just oozes quality of an evenings to viewing, even the test on the screen is much more sharper. So overall it’s certainly worth more than the permitted “5 star review”

LG C4 65" – Stunning Picture, Great Sound, but Web
I recently purchased the LG C4 65-inch OLED, and I have to say, the image quality is second to none. The size is perfect, and the thinness of the panel makes it look sleek and premium. Everything about the design and display is top-notch. I was lucky to get it with a free soundbar offer, which was a great bonus. While the soundbar itself delivers fantastic audio, I ended up placing it behind the TV on a shelf because the provided bracket makes it stick out a bit too much for my liking. Now, onto the downsides—my only real complaint is WebOS. It’s not the most intuitive to work with, and navigation can be a bit frustrating at times. Also, Alexa and LG’s voice activation have very limited functionality, and more often than not, they simply don’t work as expected. That being said, I’m really happy with the purchase, and I’m hoping for a headache-free experience for the next 4–5 years. LG has done an amazing job with the panel and sound, and despite the minor software issues, it's a fantastic TV overall! Would I recommend it? Absolutely—just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with WebOS.

Nice, but expensive, TV
As with any new TV it took a while and some care whilst working out the securing of the base and cable routing to the TV with a picture only instruction sheet, I’m sure there is a video online somewhere but it didn’t occur to me to view it. Similarly, once plugged in, working through all the setup steps, inputting email address etc. took a while but the remote control operated cursor made this a bit easier. Looking back it was pretty intuitive and everything worked from the go. Anything I’d missed in setup such as Alexa setup and features such as AI picture pro and it’s sound equivalent became apparent through subsequent screen prompts or through just browsing through the settings menu. Although not an LG issue I’m slightly disappointed in the shortage of UHD content available on channels. . Even The Euro 2024 football championships are only available in HDR on BBC i player, , Glastonbury and Tour de France 2024 similarly. It even appears that the Paris Olympics, although will be broadcast in 4K , is in a watered down version. Otherwise I’m left with the majority of my viewing being in normal but good quality resolution, albeit on a sophisticated and expensive TV

Love it so much
The LG OLED C46 is hands down the best TV I’ve ever owned. The OLED display offers rich, vibrant colors and the deepest blacks, making everything from action movies to nature documentaries look stunningly realistic. The TV’s ultra-slim design is sleek and stylish, and it fits perfectly on my wall. I’m also impressed with the sound quality and the smart features, which are fast and easy to navigate. Gaming is a smooth, immersive experience with no lag at all. If you’re on the fence about getting this TV, just do it—you won’t regret it!

Superb picture but marred by indifferent software.
This OLED TV has a superb display and lots of options for accessing streaming services, but getting to grips with the software and settings is not easy - no manuals are provided and the two available from the LG web site give no information about day-to-day operation of the TV. An "LG WebOS" guide would be useful! Another issue is that the software is perpetually asking for the user to agree to the terms & conditions for using voice commands and other features; there's no visible way of turning these nags off, and personally I refuse to grant permission for unknown advertisers to record and use any voice input in my living room in any way they choose. I advise any users of LG TVs to read the terms and conditions for all these agreements in detail (it may take some time but is quite an eye-opener) rather than click the button that simply accepts them all. Another nag that interferes with normal viewing is the pop-up that asks whether I wish to switch on a HDMI device which it thinks has come on-line, even if LG's SimpLink CEC connection system is disabled. As 2 of my 4 HDMI devices appear to have a live connection to HDMI even when they are turned off (but not unplugged) the nag appears quite often and I've yet to find a way of stopping it without pulling out plugs. In summary, LG needs to seek advice from real users, not teenage geeks, and make their software more user-friendly. It's a shame that what could be a brilliant TV is marred by what I consider to be over-complex operating software.

Excellent OLED TV for films and PS5 gaming
I have moved to this TV from a QLED, and the difference is vast. The brightness of this screen is excellent, whites are bright, and the blacks are fully black with no blocking in dark scenes. I have a P25 and the games are fantastic using the game mode on this TV, colours are outstanding, and the console drives the TV hard both from a resolution and frame per second, but the TV keeps up easily. I mounted the LG TV on my wall, and it was both easy to mount and very light given the size of the screen, no issues with my wall mount at full extension. I use a sound bar so cannot comment on the sound quality of this TV.

Picture quality is top notch.
Outstanding picture and easy to use remote control. Sound is good however I put mine through a AVR unit for better quality and clearer speech. Only downside is the pixel request which is regularly required when the TV is turned on. This takes 5 minutes and can be overridden but would still need to be done later. I did find setup a bit confusing as so many questions and options are offered. Very pleased with the final result.

Great TV but....
Already owning an older LG OLED the menu system on the C4 is not as slick as my 2015 B6, forced advertising on the central menu where it should just be a home screen with the owner choosing where they want to go. PQ is excellent but I don't think I would now go with a new LG OLED for my main TV which is due an update. Just make the TV great don't spoil the experience for owners.

Look amazing
Two man job to hang on wall, especially with the sound bar attached, making it more heavier. Easy to set up, great picture quality, comes with some apps installed, had a problem going to app store at first, couldn’t down load but got there in the end, also the hands free Alexa control is a bit random, sometimes it works, sometimes no dice, could be I’m doing something wrong But hey very pleased for discount price and a top of the range sound bar and woofer thrown in.
