It was quite a surprise when installing the tv. I expected Freeview to dominate but instead it was all about LG and I had to search for Freeview after installation. Each time I switch on I have to select a tile for “live tv” which is annoying as sometimes clicking this tile brings up the apps. If anyone can tell me how to get Freeview as my startup I would be more than happy.

Two man job to hang on wall, especially with the sound bar attached, making it more heavier. Easy to set up, great picture quality, comes with some apps installed, had a problem going to app store at first, couldn't down load but got there in the end, also the hands free Alexa control is a bit random, sometimes it works, sometimes no dice, could be I'm doing something wrong But hey very pleased for discount price and a top of the range sound bar and woofer thrown in.

I have moved to this TV from a QLED, and the difference is vast. The brightness of this screen is excellent, whites are bright, and the blacks are fully black with no blocking in dark scenes. I have a P25 and the games are fantastic using the game mode on this TV, colours are outstanding, and the console drives the TV hard both from a resolution and frame per second, but the TV keeps up easily. I mounted the LG TV on my wall, and it was both easy to mount and very light given the size of the screen, no issues with my wall mount at full extension. I use a sound bar so cannot comment on the sound quality of this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely the best TV I've ever had, with brilliant colour and contrast. Two words of caution to potential buyers though. 1. It's a devil to get out of the box and set up safely. When the delivery men dropped it off they took a photo of the screen to verify it had arrived in one piece. I had to set it up on my own and was terrified of breaking it - it was very tricky to remove from the box and set up without putting pressure on the screen at any point. Good to have careful help here. 2. As is quite common, the various motion smoothing and image enhancement settings were all turned on by default, and colour and contrast were far too high. My first viewing of a standard definition channel was so bad I nearly sent the TV back. Highly compressed, low resolution digital channel look pretty poor on any 55 inch TV and these settings are there with the intention of mitigating that but just like on any othe TV all they do is make it worse, and the settings on this TV, that some poor techies have no doubt laboured over to make a selling point out of, look so bad it's beyond belief. A war film I chanced on looked like a badly drawn cartoon seen though a bathroom window. Turn them all off and your standard def channels will look no worse than any other TV. If you're watching anything in HD or 4K, though, this is great. Set the black level so it's as dark at it will go without losing any detail in the shadows, turn off the motion smoothing and so-called clarity settings, and this is just about as good as it gets. Remember to do this for all inputs because if you set it up for live TV those settings won't be carried over to your Netflix or blu-ray player, you have to set those up too, so it could take a while to get everything how you want it, but that's par for the course. My only other minor quibble is that with some old DVDs it wont recognise that they should display in 4x3, and where some TVs have a remote that can fix this with one button, you have to hunt through the picture settings to correct this. The on-screen cursor on the remote can be a bit skittish and alight on things you don't want to activate, but it's easily turned off and useful for typing in names when you're searching for something. Finally, it's a very smart looking set. Overall, very happy indeed.

I recently purchased the LG C4 65-inch OLED, and I have to say, the image quality is second to none. The size is perfect, and the thinness of the panel makes it look sleek and premium. Everything about the design and display is top-notch. I was lucky to get it with a free soundbar offer, which was a great bonus. While the soundbar itself delivers fantastic audio, I ended up placing it behind the TV on a shelf because the provided bracket makes it stick out a bit too much for my liking. Now, onto the downsides—my only real complaint is WebOS. It's not the most intuitive to work with, and navigation can be a bit frustrating at times. Also, Alexa and LG's voice activation have very limited functionality, and more often than not, they simply don't work as expected. That being said, I'm really happy with the purchase, and I'm hoping for a headache-free experience for the next 4–5 years. LG has done an amazing job with the panel and sound, and despite the minor software issues, it's a fantastic TV overall! Would I recommend it? Absolutely—just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with WebOS.

Less than a week owning the TV. The image is excellent. The webOS is all a little new yet but this is my first new TV for over a decade. Installation problems: despite connecting TV to the Web with WiFi and wired, the TV failed to find its User License Agreements - a common problem after checking forums - meaning many webOS services were restricted. Updated the TV, no joy. Attempted connecting to mobile hot-spot, nope. Anyway, they appeared magically overnight after leaving the TV connected to the WiFi. If you're hear presenter with the same problem, just sleep on it 🙂. The other issue currently is the mobile app won't connect to the TV, despite the TV recognising its attempts (TV dutifully shows me a connection code on screen when the mobile apps loaded, but the mobile app is blissfully unaware). This still hasn't worked, something about the TV only working on a 2ghz wireless signal I read, but I won't be losing any sleep over it - which is what fixed the other issue! Sort it out LG. Pictures lovely though! On to week two...

Good picture with plenty of options to to adjust the settings to your liking. Sound is okay but really requires a sound bar to show off it's true potential. Only problem is that the stand requires fitting which can be a bit difficult as the very thin large screen could easily get damaged.

Love our new LG OLED TV. It was very easy to set up even for a couple of technophobes like us! Fantastic picture quality which is perfect whether you are a few inches away or across the room. Really good sound quality with no need for extra sound bar. Wifi capability means there is no need for a lead from tv to router.

Fantastic buying experience, brilliant TV. I was a bit unsure about WebOS but it works well, is responsive and includes almost all the apps we want. If only this could include Freely available on our far cheaper Hisense bedroom TV. In terms of picture, sound and responsive UI though this TV is amazing. Filmmaker mode is incredible and games on the PS5 have never looked so good
