Dark spots in screen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My TV is a year old. When the pictures is on i have these dark like clouding spots on the screen. If I'm watching hockey the ice is dark on that part of the screen. Almost like the back light led are burnt out.

I have a few recommendations that may resolve the white shadows and dark spots you are seeing on your screen. First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Next, run a diagnostic test. Go to Home > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test. If there are no issues during the Picture Test, this means your TV is working fine. To identify and fix the issue, first, try replacing the cable of the external device that is showing lines. - If the shadows still appear after replacing the cable, troubleshoot the external device. - If shadows appear during the Picture Test, proceed to the next step. User interface needs work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first smart TV and so far I love almost everything about it. It could be a little more user friendly both with the tv and remote. Picture is clear and vibrant. The sound is full, but it would improve with a sound bar. There are a few apps I used to have with Roku that aren't available. But when I tried to use my roku in the HDMI, the set didn't recognize it because it doesn't actually turn off and on. These few annoying aspects aren't enough to turn me off the product though. I'm a loyal Samsung user and expect to thoroughly enjoy my new tv.

Absolutely the best tv.

We bought this Samsung tv about two months ago and we absolutely love it. The picture is so clear and beautiful I love that this Samsung tv comes with a guide it makes it so easy to find what you would like to watch. But the thing I love most about this tv is the Samsung tv plus you are able to watch so many free channels without having cable. I absolutely love this Samsung tv and I would definitely recommend this tv to everyone.

This product has excellent personal values to ever

Even the Samsung speakers are awesome as they compliment the Crystal TV.

sound and enjoyable

I am passionate about television. I mean television is television; I'm a pretty bookish person. But the Samsung TV format is excellent; we bought a couple of programming packages, and I'm a lot happier than I was before I had it. I watch Disney, Dateline, news shows, all kinds of things.

Not so good

I am happy with the tv except I am not happy with the picture at all, the people look digitally compromised and the depthvv VV is not that clear. O was expecting a better quality tv. I V guess I am spoiled by the ones I used to have and should not have thrown them away! Thanks . Mara Simsic

Everything needs help

a) Home Screen is way to busy. No way to customize. b) Pressing Home button stops current viewing and you must re-select viewing option. c) Could use a little more technical information. d) User Manual needs a major overhaul. Samsung should spend some money to contract an 'User Interface Analyst' to redesign the User Guide. e) Have the User community test the manual. f) Very unclear/cumbersome to add an APP and perform other tasks.g) Remote control could have been larger to accommodate the elderly and people with mobility issues. h)

Dont recommend

I got this for christmass for myself I always get samsung but stating to change my mind phones have got bad and now this tv ughh! The picture is not as great as they say looks like my regular led tv and volume is the worse. I would have sent it back but its a 85" no way I could put back in box. Not happy with this large purchase.

Great options and picture

The picture is awesome and ease of use is simple. We are very happy with our two samsung tvs. Very easy to setup with initial installation. I wouldn't purchase any other brand of TV.
