My husband bought this for me to play video games but it quickly became our tv for binge watching shows together and having movie nights. We have late night live tv watch sessions and all! The features, the apps, the accessibility , the settings options everything is TOP TIER!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first Smart TV purchase, to be used with wifi on our outdoor covered deck. Set up was easy, the picture is great, and it's certainly easy to use. But... the advertisement said "We work with everyone!", and this is not true! We are Comcast Xfinity customers and we cannot stream Xfinity on this TV. When we called the Vizio support line, they advised that we need a Roku or Firestick device in order to stream Xfinity. IF we had known this before purchasing, e would NOT have selected this TV, we would have purchased an Amazon or Roku brand TV... which is what we'll do next time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 3 days ago for my garage. Although my iPhone will play videos there, this TV will not. Takes 5 minutes to turn on, doesn’t pick up over the air channels. Doesn’t have Pandora. The remote doesn’t support voice searches. This 40” is too small for me to read text, etc. Visio insists on tracking all my viewing activity when there is no good reason other than selling my preferences.

We purchase our Vizio because we trusted the name and the Television did not disappoint, the picture quality is wonderful. The setup was easy except for installing our cable, that was the only issue and we figured it out. And the sound is very good also.

Problem: Xfinity requires their internet to do most On Demand and Streaming. So I needed a Smart TV to do the streaming on our community WiFi. Comparing brands and prices I went with the VIZIO 40" (we sit close to the TV in our apartment). Looks great and solves our problem.

I purchased this model during a Black Friday sale, fully expecting a "you get what you pay for" experience. The TV is a replacement for an ancient Panasonic model in my home office. I could not be happier with the TV and actually wish that my main living room TV was this nice. Love that I can control it with an app on my phone, and the built-in streaming apps work flawlessly.

We were looking for a 'smart' TV to replace a 'smart' TV we bought several years ago, OH MY Gosh, the difference is like Night & Day! Who knew they'd gotten so much Smarter AND inexpensive! Its Soooo fantastic, I'm planning to replace my Other TV's with Vizios after seeing the upgraded screen resolution, ease of use, & how SMART it is! It's like tv's have graduated Higher Learning classes! I'd bought an ' hd antenna' thinking I needed one to get over-the-air 'free' channels, but happily I was wrong! Apparently this Vizio has it built in capabilities. What will Vizio think of Next? I can't wait to find out :)

I was using the built in Vizio app watching hulu. Went to adjust the volume and the software froze, then rebooted. It's froze a few times after that. So much for a decent smart tv experience. Guess I'm getting a Roku.
