I bought my Vizio based on my previous purchases for my home. The other TVs set up and run was easy and functional off the first time turned on. On the current TV the set up and run was easy and functional for the first day. The second day the TV got stock in a loop and would not load. I followed the instructions to reboot, reinstall, check internet, etc. but the same issue when you turn on the TV it gets into a loop. If I do a full system wash and set up the TV again, it works for one day then on the next time it gets turned on the TV gets stuck in the upload loop. My other Vizio is 15 feet away in the next room and it works fine so the internet is not the issue.

Vizio TV's are great. I have bought two many years ago and they are still pretty good. So, when it was time to get another TV, I knew it had to be a Vizio. However, things have changed since the purchase of my previous Vizio TV. The picture and sound are still top quality, but there is now gatekeeping practices. TV's have changed to be more than just something you can plug a game console into so that you can play your favorite games, or hook up a DVD player or TV service to watch the movies and shows you like. Which means Vizio had made a change to follow the evolution of what a TV is. This change means that you can't just buy a TV now just to use it as a TV right out of the box. I know that TV's bought today are capable of streaming content from the internet and do not need any external devices to do so. A good step in the right direction. However, the execution falls flat for me. I was annoyed and then disappointed. Annoyed because the TV requires access to the internet to even begin setup. Which would not have been so bad, but the TV requires an account to be set up to continue. So, you have to go out of your way to download an app or go to a website to complete this step for a reason that is arbitrary at best. I bought my TV to be used for my PS5 and I had to go through all of these steps that should have been optional. If the internet access and Vizio account were optional, I would not have minded at all But gaming is not the only thing I was going to use the TV for. I use streaming services too. I thought that maybe I didn't need to set up my Chromecast. The Vizio TV would have all of the apps for the services I use, right? I was disappointed to find out that this was not the case. They do have the popular apps you would expect. However, I still had to set up my Chromecast because they didn't have what I was looking for. So, I did not even bother with the apps on the TV. I was left wondering why I had to bother jumping through the hoops of setting up internet access and creating a Vizio account if I was not even going to use them. An old fashioned TV with now "smart features" would have served me perfectly. Overall, the quality of the picture and sound is great, but keep in mind that you can not just take the TV out of the box and plug it in to use it. It requires a lot of set up and updates, which may take a long time for slower Internet connections.

I received this as a gift during the holidays, and I wasn’t able to get it set up until just recently. I’m happy to say it was worth the wait. Setting up the tv was a breeze; I plugged it in, selected my preferred language, entered my WiFi password, and I was browsing movies and shows in no time. Adding and logging into your favorite apps is pretty simple on this tv. Most offered a QR code to scan with your phone, and from there you just log into your account for the app you’re using. I’m most impressed by the quality of the picture that this tv offers. Everything is bright, sharp, and clear, and I’m just using the factory picture settings. I also find the remote to be user friendly. Overall, this is a great tv at a very good price point. It was a gift but I helped to choose it, and I’m very satisfied with the quality I received for the money spent. The 43” size is great for any room in the house where you’d like to relax and watch tv, and I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good tv on a budget.

Great picture quality! Works with Alexa and you can download apps that you want. AirPods paired with ease. I will plan on getting a sound bar to enhance sound. Downside: Took a little more time than I wanted to set up with Alexa and first time set up of TV itself. TV has worked well so far. It has a 2 year warranty. Would recommend purchase of this TV and would buy again.

This is my first Vizio TV as well as my first smart TV. The setup process was very easy and I am still exploring all of the free channels I can receive. My current main TV is a 15 year old set from another brand that still works well, but I will definitely consider a larger Vizio smart TV to replace it when the time comes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality on the TV is good. I do like the remote control and the sound quality and all of the smart features. I do wish that I could download other apps on the TV. For example, you can’t download DIRECTV app.

We had had a Vizio TV for years with no problems, so when we needed an additional TV that was our first choice. The Black Friday price was also amazing! Set up was so easy but didn’t come with hardware for a wall Mount. We were able to use the bracket from another TV and took screws from the original Vizio since thatTV is larger and on a stand. My husband’sTV amplifier had no place to plug in to this TV so we did have to purchase a different amplifier with Blue Tooth, which set right up with no difficulty. Other than those two slight complications, we love this TV! The ease at finding apps for streaming is far superior to the Fire TV we had been using! The picture and sound are amazing. Highly recommend this TV!

My wife and I recently purchased our newest VIZIO television for our bedroom now that the renovations have been completed. It's the THIRD unit in our house and it won't be the last one we will purchase (granddaughters bedroom is next on the to-do list).
