I brought this a week ago and have had nothing but positive things to say it’s was all super affordable coming in at an absolute steal for how good the quality is with great HD and multiple screen options, and the easiest set up ever just a couple screws and a few sign in buttons and enjoy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my VIZIO. I love it! Has a great picture lots of features and you can tweak it anyway you want to tweak it. The only drawback that I see is that the remote is not a Voice remote that would’ve been nice But all in all, it’s great.

This is my first Smart TV. The Vizio Model VFD40M-0809, is very easy to set up for a first timer. I just plugged it in, and a setup Menu appeared on the Screen. Step by step, each instruction appeared on the screen for your preference of setup. Internet Connection was found almost immediately and was able to log into my service, which allowed me instant access to all of the TV streaming services. In addition, I connected my Broadband box with ease for additional viewing services. The Picture clarity is so clear, it is almost like you are live & not viewing thru a TV. The quality of the Sound is clear and plenty loud for a bedroom setting. There is a lot of settings for personal preference and enjoyment, and they are easy to set.

The TV is OK., but why do you need my credit card so I can watch TV. Also, totally intrusive, "what room, who is watching let us force programming down your throat." I am beyond offended. The process to enter passwords etc. is convoluted and painful. Going from streaming to TV is also a convoluted pain. Gimme an antenna anytime.

Bought last night. Turned on and it updated itself. All good at this point. The. I logged into all of my subscriptions and tried downloading. 1hr later I stopped with 4 subscriptions. Tried linking my iPad via air play and had to u plug tv because it froze. Thought it was a fluke. Not. It happened a 2nd time. Well I guess it’s not a smart tv after all. It does hook to WiFi but won’t stream as I needed it to in my RV. Guess I’m stuck with this regular tv now.

The first Vizio TV I bought years ago, and it is still going strong today, has no problems except for the remote. (remote stopped working) And it still has daily use as a computer screen. The only thing that is a little concerning with my new TV is that there is only limited connections in the back. 2 HDMI's would be good. Also, I really don't like that there is no control of the TV without a remote. So basically, if the remote dies I will have to buy another right away to use the TV. Those are the only 2 setbacks. I am still thrilled that I picked this TV.

This TV is horrible. I had a Magnavox Roku for years. This one? You cannot see what channel you are watching! Want to get OTA channels. Worked o.k. until today. It was stuck on that WATCH FREE!!!! Stuck! Spent hours on the phone with this tech. In Columbia. He could not fix it. Said it may be the remote. Really? Sam's should stop carrying this BRAND! I will have to just toss it out. These TVs that have all this stuff already embedded? FORGET IT! Sam's must get them cheap and push them off on us!

We decided to replace our TVs with vizio. My boyfriend had bought one many years ago that still works. The picture is awesome. Like how it almost has an invisible frame to give you more of the picture. The sound is a lot better than our old TVS. Easy set up also.

I’ve had many TVs, I needed something to replace my old LCD screen that was starting to leak and I needed something cheap because I didn’t have any money and bought this Vizio TV and it’s actually 10 times better than my 65 inch TV. Love this TV And will purchase a new living room TV and get rid of my current with a Vizio.
