The TV is OK., but why do you need my credit card so I can watch TV. Also, totally intrusive, "what room, who is watching let us force programming down your throat." I am beyond offended. The process to enter passwords etc. is convoluted and painful. Going from streaming to TV is also a convoluted pain. Gimme an antenna anytime.

I purchased this tv for my bedroom bc the other one I had went out. It's my 1st smart TV in my bedroom. I love the picture quality and clear sound. I love the option for a voice remote. The only thing i don't like is that the sleep timer won't stay permanent.

Vizio's usually last awhile compared to Samsung. But Samsungs technology seems to be a bit ahead at least in there remote. Vizio's remote for the 32" is huge, wont even fit in a standard remote holder. I just put a Vizio 55" at a friend's. The remote was small - updated. Samsung remote is a charging & solar device. Great size - rarely have to charge it due to the solar in it. Batteries are not replaceable so saves so much just in the solar. Color is better in the Vizio's & the screen lasts for years. Had to replace last Samsung after 2-3 years as the color was fading already. Sometimes the screen would get so dark, the picture couldn't even be seen.

I’ve had many TVs, I needed something to replace my old LCD screen that was starting to leak and I needed something cheap because I didn’t have any money and bought this Vizio TV and it’s actually 10 times better than my 65 inch TV. Love this TV And will purchase a new living room TV and get rid of my current with a Vizio.

This is my first Smart TV. The Vizio Model VFD40M-0809, is very easy to set up for a first timer. I just plugged it in, and a setup Menu appeared on the Screen. Step by step, each instruction appeared on the screen for your preference of setup. Internet Connection was found almost immediately and was able to log into my service, which allowed me instant access to all of the TV streaming services. In addition, I connected my Broadband box with ease for additional viewing services. The Picture clarity is so clear, it is almost like you are live & not viewing thru a TV. The quality of the Sound is clear and plenty loud for a bedroom setting. There is a lot of settings for personal preference and enjoyment, and they are easy to set.

Bought last night. Turned on and it updated itself. All good at this point. The. I logged into all of my subscriptions and tried downloading. 1hr later I stopped with 4 subscriptions. Tried linking my iPad via air play and had to u plug tv because it froze. Thought it was a fluke. Not. It happened a 2nd time. Well I guess it’s not a smart tv after all. It does hook to WiFi but won’t stream as I needed it to in my RV. Guess I’m stuck with this regular tv now.

I just recently got my second Vizio Smart TV. These things are great!! Easy set up, tons of apps to choose from that are pre installed, and great picture quality. I don’t really watch regular tv anymore as what time I do spend watching tv is spent watching my favorite shows on the various apps that are already loaded on the Vizio tv. Good quality construction, easy to use, and great picture for a very reasonable cost.

I bought this tv for my 80 year old mother in law. She has a hard time with the way the tv start up operation works. She does not have internet access and refuses to pay for internet or cable tv. She has an OTA Antenna. When the tv is turned on you have to wait until it boots up, it then gives you an option of internet or antenna source. She gets confused and sometimes chooses the internet option and then she can’t get the tv to work and the phone calls start. I have to go to her home and get everything sorted out. I wish you would make it possible possible for the tv to be set up so that when it is turned on it would go straight to the Over the air antenna and not give the internet access option.

Not a bad tv. The price was not bad either. I do not like how you cannot download an app to add to your lineup. The one I wanted was not on your list. Also the controller is heavier at the top. So when I pick it up I always have it upside down. Anyway as of right now I would be happier if I could download the app I want that is not on your list if apps.
