I bought this a couple weeks ago & have mixed feelings. It's great if you want to just watch movies & old TV shows. I can't seem to get much else out it. It has great picture quality. The app won't load on my phone, so I guess I'm stuck with the entertainment.

I was going to buy this and an apple tv box to go with it but it has so many integrated features and apps I won't even need the apple tv. I will need a speaker bar because the audio is just tinny sounding but that's pretty standard for a tv so slim.

The new VIZIO TV works quite well, nice picture , good sound and a good selection of streaming channels. A very nice replacement for my old TV which started to freeze up occasionally., but it was was about 15 years old. Overall, the quality looks good but the packing carton was sealed a bit crooked and sloppy. I chose this particular one because several other cartons showed signs of scuffing and handling stress. Upon opening , everything looked good and installation was quick and easy. My biggest complaint is the placement of the totally useless IMO pre-programmed premium channel buttons places at the top of the remote layout where they are too easily pressed by mistake. Most other remote makers put those useless keys at the bottom and that's what I'm used to. I wish there were a way to easily remove those useless preprogrammed premium channel keys and neatly cover the openings. I do watch local OTA TV and this TV seems to put that secondary to other source inputs and it requires some exploring to find the local channel lineup. For the most part however, this TV is a nice entertainment value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace my old Vizio TV, that was smaller and not a Smart TV. I also have an older Panasonic smart TV that allows me to cast videos from my computer directly to the TV wirelessly, and very easily. So I wanted the same with this new TV. However, apparently this TV is not on the DLNA product list so it doesn't have that capability. I don't really get the embedded Google Chromecast because it doesn't do anything when you click on it and the TV does not show up on my computer under Bluetooth devices (and yes, they're on the same network). The only way I can connect it is to pair it, starting from the TV using the Bluetooth headphone option under settings (obviously my computer is not a set of headphones though!) Searching for 3rd party apps to use in order to cast videos from my computer, is not helpful. Most don't work at all. Casting from Google Chrome does not work. I have one program on my computer that allows me to cast to the TV and this seems to be the only way but it's also not ideal. I end up having to use this app on my computer to open the video, cast it, and then change the settings on my computer to keep it awake, so it doesn't sleep after 10 min and stop the video. So, this is a huge disappointment. Otherwise, the official apps and options on the TV are nice... Haven't tried them all yet though. The TV is also bulkier than I expected. I expected all new TVs to be pretty thin and this one is not so much. It's much thicker than my old TV that I replaced (a 2010 Vizio which still works fine, it's just smaller and not a smart TV).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had problems setting apps up. I had to troubleshoot on my own to get my Disney + to run. It might have been Disney’s fault, but still wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Another problem is with the removal of apps from the dashboard. When I go through the procedure to remove, it doesn’t go through. The only thing it lets me do is cancel the procedure, which sucks. Might be user error, but don’t think so. The picture quality though is very nice, especially just for HD. I didn’t get the 4K, but still have vibrant resolution.

I'm a senior and I was used to an Apple TV box. This is so much different and it's taking me a while to figure out the remote. My previous Apple TV box remote was nothing like this one. I wish I had a human to talk to so I could ask how to get around and do the things I used to do with ease. It will take time I guess. I hope I catch on.

Had a little trouble setting it up with my hidden WiFi but figured it out and it works great! Sure my guests will enjoy it!
