This tv lasted 4 months before it started actimg up. The audio is doubling on itsefl making it impossible to watch. Im very annoyed! Vizeo has disappointed me for the last time. Id get my money back but sams only has a 90 day return on it.

I paid $150 for this TV and now it is $138, so a slightly better deal now. I bought it based on having two older VIZIO TV's (probably 5-6 years old), which I am satisfied with, the price, and this being one of the few TV's with a screen size between 32 and 43 inches - 40 inches was the perfect size for the space I have available. I agree with other reviews that this TV is confusing to set up. In fact, I could not set it up from the on-screen prompts - like others have stated, I also could not get past the "Terms and Conditions". The only way I could set it up was by going to VIZIO.com/setup and entering the TV's ID code. While that then worked fine, it was more time-consuming than it should have been. I also agree with other reviews that once set up, the TV is confusing to use. Over the air channels get integrated in a selection list with "Free TV" app channels, which makes scrolling to and selecting over-the-air stations tedious. The TV also requires a very strong signal to receive over-the-air stations. Unless atmospheric conditions are perfect. for most of the stations in our area, the picture constantly pixelates or disappears completely. When the picture does come in, features like brightness, contrast, definition, and color hues are very good. Finally, this is not a "Smart TV" in the traditional sense - it doesn't have the ability to download and install new apps from an app store. It comes with a limited selection of pre-installed apps, and there's no functionality to add more. So don't buy this TV to replace a Roku streaming player - if you are used to all the apps you have been able to install from previous use of a Roku player, you will want to continue using that device with this TV. In that case, be aware that the TV only has one USB port, so if you use an amplified antenna, you won't be able to power that from the TV.

I have had multiple Vizio units and they have been good. Ordered this one and it turns on by itself. Seriously. We will be gone for hour and come home and it will be on. We replaced it and same issue. What the heck. I don’t really want to send it back again.

picture is great, easy to maneuver...and it has SPECTRUM APP on it...hip hip hooray cuz now I can return the black box and save more money and avoid the hassle of having to even call them when the signals cant/dont work HIP HIP HOOORAY....Keep up the goodwork VIZIO

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From a 76 year old man — I recently replace three "high-end" TVs with VIZIOs. I have probably purchase more the 50 TVs in my lifetime for my family. By far, VIZIO has been superior in all aspects - from quality and performance to value and support - it's been a grand experience.

I’ll start with the positive, it has a nice crisp picture. This tv takes forever to load an app…that is WHEN it can connect to the wifi. Every other day I’m having to reinput the wifi password and reconnect it manually. I’m not having to do this with any other devices. It took HOURS to set up. You have to create a Vizio account now, and wait for an email to be sent. The email came in the middle of the night. I tried adding a roku to this tv so I wouldn’t have to keep reinputting the wifi password and the tv doesn’t even stay on the correct hdmi input, I keep having to change it back. The one star is for picture quality. It’s the only good thing about this tv. It’s trash. I’ve had it for two weeks and am already looking to replace it.

I think the back light failed because we could see a dim picture if ww were a few inches away from the screen. Purchase a new 40 inch Visio so it would fit in the same cabinet. In about 10 minutes we were watching our favorite channels. We use an over the air TIVO and because the unit was set up for VISIO the remotes worked without any setup.

Ver películas, escuchar y ver videos musicales, noticias, etc. Lo manejo super bien desde mi celular y mi familia esta feliz con la nueva tecnología. Se ve super bien y se escucha fuerte.

Had it for two weeks. Was really slow loading main screen from start up. Started having issues connecting to the WiFi even though everything else in the house was running fine. It would play a video for a minute then have the connection issue and repeat. Video quality was good but does no good if you can’t watch anything because of connectivity issues.
