There was no owner's manual or any explanation of the connections on the back. To set up, you Must download the App. Took too long to set up. It is not plug-and-play. There is no way to hook up a laptop computer to this TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My latest purchase of an additional 40 inch darling Vizio flat screen television for the bedroom has made my 50 inch Vizio flat screen in the living room guffaw with electronic titillation….When I joined them together via my IPhone…..I swear I heard cries of delight throughout the house!…Personally, I suspect we will be hearing the cries of a little 32 inch Vizio newcomer within a few months…💯😉👍 PAX

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm generally hesitant about smart TVs because I value my privacy and don't want my viewing data sold or leaked. However, I appreciate that Vizio now explicitly asks for consent (opt-in) during setup rather than just taking the data by default like some other brands. ​The hardware itself feels surprisingly well-built for the price. The packaging was a standout—it used a secure mix of Styrofoam, heavy-duty pressed board, and a thick cardboard shield for the screen. It felt much safer than standard cheap packing. This gives me way more confidence than my previous 60-inch Hisense, which failed completely right after its one-year warranty expired. We'll see if this 40-inch model holds up, but I have faith in the brand; my previous Vizio lasted over 18 years with heavy daily use.

It took me quite some time to find how I needed to get the regular television channels to come up when turning on the television. I am sure that for some people they would need a professional to help them. Maybe Vizio needs to look into the option of an initial set up for regular programming or streaming.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this TV. The picture and sound are perfect for my small living room, even without a sound bar. I followed the directions to install and was even able to program my FiOs remote to work all the functions. A big improvement from my prior TV, which was impossible and required me to use two remotes. There are lots of settings that can be tweaked to your liking. I'm very happy with my choice.

This one has a clear picture, great color, good sound quality, and easy to find apps😁. Very happy with my Vizio Smart TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful tv with all the popular apps for streaming. Beware I discovered ypu can not add ypur own apps to the menu as it seems Vizio has a proprietary OS installed. If it does not have your specific app on the list ypu must use an alternate plug in source or a different brand that allows downloads. Otherwise I recommend the brand. I have 4 Vizio tv's and 1 sound bar and all work flawlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a ROKU tv with my new Vizio. I didn't know that the tv came with such comprehensive channel selection. I was also very pleasantly surprised when I added my broadcast over air antenna channels and discovered them intuitively add to the full channel list. I used to have to go to another in on the ROKU. This was so smooth and slick. My only negative is that being an audiofile, I use bluetooth to get better sound on the tv. That works fine and the lip sync is perfect, no latency. I only wish I didn't have to connect the bluetooth manually every time I turn on the tv. It would be great if it remembered my preferences and found the bluetooth soundbar automatically. Otherwise great so far.
