Once the tv was set up, it was time to sign into all the streaming services & I was in awe at how quick and easy it was. The best part..you can download an app where you can use your phone as a remote control. My daughter is enjoying it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a Vizio a week ago, it took me 8 hours to get it hooked up to my cable provider. I was lucky new TV it still has one coaxial connection. But then I need my phone, ability to read a QR code on phone and an email to complete set up. After hours of trying the tv was functional. I am old and not technically adapt. I had to find a way to get help, after online search was able to do online chat online, after an hour with an AI conversation AI finally sent me to a human. AI told me I had to buy some box to connect to new TV. It was only when chatting with a real person that I was able to understand the TV. It only says connect to Antenna, to get to Cable to have to add channels. Does not tell you that anywhere. Then you have go into setting and save last viewed. That allows my tv to turn on to my cable stations. Would be nice if all this is described in instructions. Now TV work great. I know how to stream and watch cable. Just Very fustrationing on getting to work. That is why poor rating.

It took me quite some time to find how I needed to get the regular television channels to come up when turning on the television. I am sure that for some people they would need a professional to help them. Maybe Vizio needs to look into the option of an initial set up for regular programming or streaming.

I'm not a fan of this TV, but as my parents told me; you get what you pay for. This is the newest TV in the house, so you would think it would be the best, right? Wrong. If I could return this TV, I would. The clarity isn't an issue, it's the features, or lack of, that I do not like. I purchased this TV to replace my older 42" Vizio because the old TV is app-less, cannot connect to the Wi-Fi, and screen sharing also didn't exist at the time. So with the older TV still working, why not just get a new replacement from the same company, right? Wrong. I have this TV set up in my work office, for days when I can work remote from home. 1) Spotify, YouTube, Crunchyroll, and other apps. - These apps are either unreliable or unavailable. There is no app for Spotify or Crunchyroll despite having an "app store". My guess, is whoever has more money than needed to buy their app into Vizio. So I am forced to connect to the TV through the app on my phone. While streaming music from my phone to the TV, it never auto-plays, despite having that feature ON on Spotify. So after every single song, I have to operate my phone and select the next track. I do not have that problem with my TCL from 3 years ago, my Roku from 4 years ago, or my Sony from 10 years ago. After about 1-2 hours of playing music, it automatically closes Spotify and goes back to the Home Screen, despite me clicking skip songs or repeat the previous, aka it's not "sleeping". -The Youtube app is lackluster. - No Crunchyroll app despite having an "app store". 2) Google Chromecast, Air-Play, and Crunchyroll streaming. - The company must have signed a deal with Apple. There is a dedicated Air-Play mode, but no Google Chromecast. So my tablet and phone (Fold 7) have difficulty with the TV. Despite having stable internet speeds of 700 MBs, it still loses connection, appears laggy, and pixelated on some screen sharing. - Cannot comment on Air-Play as I don't own any Apple products. My guess, it's the best thing about the TV. 3) Visually, the TV isnt bad. Colors are okay. 4) Audibly, the sound is decent. Somewhat liking the surround sound option. 5) No issues with major streaming services like Disney or Paramount. For the price, if you just want a viewing screen, this is a solid choice. If you want more features, definitely go with a different brand.
